Remarks

Infrastructure needs to be revamped. Classes are very old and in bad condition. No proper lighting too. No proper chairs and space for the number of students they intake. Curriculum needs to be revamped. The same old traditional teaching methods and courses don't work anymore.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Course curriculum needs to be more detailed nad focused to the course. We had a lot of extra subjects which were not at all focused or close to interior designing. We spent a lot of time on projects and portfolios of those subjects rather than spending time behind important subjects.

Placement Experience

1

We have a 1month internship in the month of December. Which we have to find it for ourself. Incase we fail to do so, then and only then the faculty helps. And placements, hardly 2-3 firms come and out of a batch of 25, hardly 3-4 students get selected

College Events

2

No major technical events other than an open house. Cultural events like February days, youth fest etc are celebrated which is common for entire University. Nothing special other than that. Festivals like kite festival, holi are celebrated

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is less than 10000 per year? Its different for both boys and girls. This fees includes only tuition and maintainance. Hostel feels, material cost, books, canteen, everything else is extra. Doesn't even include library cost.

Fees and Financial Aid

Some scholarship for backward society people are offered but i don't have much knowledge bout it. But it is very well marketed and propogated such that students can easily reach out and avail those scholarship benefits.

Campus Life

1

In the entire faculty, there might be 10boys to the ratio of 500girls. We have an average kind of freshers party and farewell party. Nothing special. workshops are arranged 5-6 times a year. There are people from all over india, of various cultural religious and financial background and everyone is welcoming towards it.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors can be helpful if you maintain good terms with them. Basically it all depends on the human nature or behaviour of every individual. At my time, seniors were not very much co-operative towards anyone of us. We had to figure out everything on our own. But when we were the senior most, we made sure we gave proper guidance to our juniors at every stage.

Admission

My admission in this college was on merit basis. But after my first year i had to give an entrance exam to get into the specialization i wanted, ie. Interior designing. Because first year is all common subjects and after 2nd year only you get to study specialized subjects

Faculty

2

I can say its an average. They teach whatever they know. But with the knowledge they have at this era, i don't think thats sufficient. Faculty itself needs to learn more about the field so that they can teach the students.

This includes subject like genetics ,molecular biology, immunology and others which strongly influence my decision to choose this course. It prepares students for well further academic education like MSC and research based fields.Teaching methods can be improved by adding interactive sessions, case studies, handson practice. This college includes internal exams such as unit test ,assignments, practical exams and end semesters exams which help students to stayed focused on studying. There are less difficulties faced by students who attend lectures on regular basis.
