Remarks

Best medical college as inspite of having a private set up. You are given facilities and clinical exposure like government medical college. A lot of clinacal cases are present in base hospital so u can have the best clinical orientation to become a best doctor.

Course is of 4. 5 years and strictly adhere to the guidelines of mci. At the end of every year there is professional exam theory with practical in base hospital. After the degree u hv to serve as an intern in hospital of your choice for 1 year. There is no bond to serve in indain army.

Placement Experience

Internship is there in base hospital delhi cantt for 1 year. As it is a mbbs course no companies come to college. After college is over we hv to apply at different places Or appear for neet post graduation exam. On an average a person earns more than 12 lakh per annum after taxes.

Vast co curricular activities take place on college day, academic day and annual fest aura of our college. Equal focus is on games as we hv a lot of sports activities on these days in habaksh stadiun delhi cantt.

Fee Structure And Facilities

520000 per annum Is the required amount for acdemics with 10000 every month for hostel and mess. In 1st year hostel is compulsory but in subsequent years it is optional. Overall it is expensive than government medical college but still very cheap than private medical college.

Fees and Financial Aid

In case u go for distinction u are provided 40000 for every subject. U can also go for scholarship by delhi government merrit cum means scholarship if your parents annual income is below 25000 thn u r eligibal to get 50% concession in fees. For ward of army men who got martyred in war. There is no tuition fees.

Campus Life

One year has a batch of 100 where almost half of them are boys. We have cultural socities with socity head from senior most batch and representative from every batch. We have a vast student diversity as student are army wards which come from all part of country.

Hostel Facilities

Lush green hostel environment which is walking distance from delhi cantt metro station and 2 km from delhi cantt railway station. 2 people live in one room with attached washroomfor e year and in final year we get sinfle rooms. Adequate hostel staff. In case of any problem of water or electricity issue is resooved quickly.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior come regularly for annual meeting and guide us beautifully in furtger career option. Few seniors have joined indian army and few are doing pg in various specialities in safdurjung or rml hospital.

Admission

Appeared for neet pg In month of may with additional registration on website of indra prastheuniversity. After the result counselling took place in ipu university new delhi. For admission in this college your father must have served in army for more than 15 years or u can apply under sc/st quota.

Best faculty both civialiana nd army faculty as a lot of top medical specialst are posted in base hospital and army hospital r&r Who come and take our college. We are allowed to enter operation theater and watch few procedures in surgery.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Academics is great and the labs are well maintained. All the pgs, Srs and professors are helpful. Projectors are there for teaching purposes. Exams held on weekly/monthly basis for better understanding of subjects and preparation of final examination.

Course curriculum are good but need some improvement.there is 3 subject in 1st year and 3 subject in 2nd year and only 2 subject in 3rd year and 11 subject in last 4th year so last year very tough.we need some more subject in 3rd year even 1st and 2nd year so we got some less headache in final year.

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately.
