Faculty needs an improvement a lot of improvements other then that the experience is ok the fees structure is quite affordable too and one can easily achieve their goals in life if they wish to study from any Calcutta University Colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was good and helpful as it gave time for students to study and prepare for further exams but the teaching staff was underwelming and not helpfull , one has to rely on himself or herself to get their studies right.
Placement Experience
No, Our college doesn't provide internship to bcom students or any commerce background students. Only law students and science background students gets internship and that too aren't that great to begin with.
College Events
Events in college are quite frequent mostly political events and cultural events are yearly basis i. e once an year and our college doesn't disappoint at this at all. Cultural events are quite enjoyable.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible as this is a government college the fees is quite low in comparison to private colleges and affordable to even low income housholds. One can easily afford to study in any of the government colleges without the need to think for fees structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
I dont have any information about any scholarships loan facilities provided by the college. As i have only experienced bcom and their is no loan facility for that i have no idea. There may be loan for other streams but i have no information.
Campus Life
As from a commerce background i have Little knowledge about labs and their structure but they are little more desirable as maintenance throughout the campus is not good and renovation is required as buildings are old.
Hostel Facilities
No. I didn't opt for hostels. There are hostels facilities at the college and as i have not opted for one i have zero knowledge of the facilities provided in the hostels and the hygienic characteristics of the hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior Students are helpful and alumni network is also good one can easily get help in any situation of emergency and can find easy solutions and can also get proper assistance where needed. No Issues present at this department.
Admission
I got Admission on the basis of Marks obtained in the 12th standard and the course i took after 10th finals in school. Counciling was done and after that selection of candidates and then admission. I chose this course because i had commerce background from my school.
Faculty
Facilities teachers were not that great. Students had to depend on themselves to do majority of the curriculum as facility teachers were not that helpful from the very beginning. They were not so much interested in doing their jobs.
