Remarks
Its a mixture of both good and bad but yeah it was my decision to chose to pursue my dream so this my stepping stone to success. Saddest part is it is far far away from home which sometimes makes us homesick.
Course Curriculum Overview
My college is basically both teaching as well as research institute. Though it is located in peripheral parts of country but the infrastructure was build in view of AIIMS for peripheral Uttarakhand. The labs are well equipped but we had to go through multiple exams in our 4. 5 year duration course
Placement Experience
Yes. Moreover it is compulsory for a MBBS graduate to do a 365 day rotatory internship in all the departments provided byt he college. Though our stipend use to be damn low but what all matters is the experience.
College Events
Not many functions occur. But yes we do have a freshers party, a diwali party, and a fest which runs for a week accompanied by a DJ party. Fest consists both cultural as well as sports events. I take part in many of them
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. Thats why every one works hard to clear the entrance to get admission in a government college because fee structure of private colleges are bizarre which everone can't afford. But its all worth when you achieve your dream
Fees and Financial Aid
We generally dont have any scholarship programme. Talking about loan facilties also i dont remember much. but we do have a bond facilty which we have to complete my serving people of Uttarakhand for stipulated amount of time
Campus Life
Ectracurricular activities are good heee we do have a MPL ground medical premiere league, a badminton court, volleyball court, table tennis different seminars in the name of CME, Continuing medical association
Alumni/Alumna
Yeah we do have wonderful seniors without whose help it becomes diffcult to pass the exams. Also they halp us to gain our clinical knowledge. They tend to help us in every possible way they could. So yeah they are great
Admission
We had to clear an entrance exam i. e. NEET which is at the national level. Lakhs pf students appear for it among which just a few thousand get their dream colleges. I chose MBBS since to become a doctor is my childhood passion
Faculty
All the faculties are post graduated in their branches and have a great teaching and treating experience. Different branches have multiple faculties to look after both patients and students. They look after both OPD and classes.
