Remarks

Yes, College should strictly implement discipline and rules in the college so that everyone should go to attend the class instead of sitting/gossiping in lawns. I hate my college because of this, It affects other students also.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

I don't think there is much focus on research, just attending classed and leaving, sitting in lawn. At the time of exams I start studying before 3-4 days before exams and it makes me very much irritated.

Placement Experience

0.5

I think this so that there is any placements & job opportunities in our college. Students come here and study the course and complete the graduation and left the college for other Universities or looking for job.

College Events

1

Since I have joined the college I have seen only 1 event and that was in the Science block of the College about Nano particles and I also attended the event. There was also guest from New Delhi in the event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Overall ?7000-8000 per year Firstly we have to pay fee of college and then of University as our college is connected to Kashmir University who manages all exams and other course activities. I think the fee they take is bit expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't got any scholarship or loan facility from my college anytime. I individually recently applied for government scholarship scheme online but I have not got any scholarship assistance from my College.

Campus Life

2.5

Labs are good but there is a lack of sports activities. I have seen a sports activity only a single time in my college but I didn't participated because there was no notification or anything to inform students about it.

Alumni/Alumna

Some of the seniors are very good and helpful but some are not good. I have interacted with many seniors and Alumni they told me that there is not much good education in this college, I feeled very sad after I heard that.

Admission

I was studying commerce till 12th class after that I did admission in Gandhi Memorial College and choose B. A Bachelor Of Arts and my admission was approved. I choose Arts because I was not much interested in commerce subject.

Faculty

4

The all of the faculty is very much educated and intelligent. But some of the students just come to college to timepass and make fun. They didn't attend classes and if sometimes they attend the classed their behaviour is very much disturbing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen the course myself but this year due to NEP we had 7 subjects which is kinda difficult for us to study .only 2 subject are main that are major and minor rest changes as per semester, so last year my multidisciplinary subject was Geography in 1st sem and then Geology in 2nd semester. There must be some changes in course. 1. Shortage must not be 75% it becomes difficult for students . 2. Teaching method must have to be improved.. Colleges have a semester of 6 months, they give information in 1 to 2 months and after some time in the semester, papers start..they should give some more time for preparation. The difficultly level of exams are not much... kinda easy paper . In minor exams the time limit is one hour and in major 2.5 hour . Sometimes time is problem too ... As I'm humanities student and we hv to write in length but sometimes due to time shortage weren't able to write much contents but overall my experience in college was good
