Remarks
The college is great. No negative remarks from my side. Everything works well here. The infrastructure is good. Even some Polly wood industry stars come for shooting on off days. The cafeteria is just awesome.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is great. Everything's properly planned. The environment is great. Students are made familiar to the college very soon. Talking about exams, we have 3 sessional tests and one final exam for every subject in each subject.
Placement Experience
Placement process is taken care of by a special placement cell. All the students are garuntied placements if they have above 60% in +2 and college aggregate. Internship is offered to various students in 6th semester itself and job is provided by the companies on the basis of their performance in the internship.
College Events
Various technical and cultural events are organised in the college. 2 fests every year namely Rangrez which is a national theatre fest and Explore which is for college students only. Apart from these there are various fun activities carried on by various clubs and societies in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is a bit expensive but if we compare it to other big colleges like IITs or private colleges like BITS and Thapar its much less and feasible. 80000 per semester is the fee for CSE department.
Fees and Financial Aid
No such scholarships or loan facilities are provided by the college. It's just if you cant pay the fee on time you can write an application for extension of due date and get it signed by the registerar of the university.
Campus Life
Gender ratio in college is good. Boys and girls are treated equally. There are various cultural societies and clubs handled by the students and teachers collectively. Various events are organised every month for various departments and goodies are given to the students for their performance. The societies are open for all students to join but in order to become a team member you need to pass an interview.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are good, very helping infact. Everyone gets equal respect. Nowadays as placements are going on the placed seniors are helping their juniors and also guiding them properly. All kinds of help is provided to the students by the alumni.
Admission
JEE Mains score is considered for admission in this college. Seats will be allocated to you in the counselling on the basis of your JEE Mains score. You also need need to have an aggregate of 60 in PCM in order to get admission in BE.
Faculty
The faculty is great. It consists of professionals from PHD to Post Graduates. People completing their post graduation work as interns under several expert teachers as their assistants. All the major PHD holders of their respective subjects are the incharge/ coordinators of their respective subjects.
