Remarks

the only problem i felt is the politics involved in the campus and university.

there will be a 21000+ fee per semester for a general category including all the fees like examination fee, etc,and it changes depending upon reservation. for oec,sc-st category, there no fee at all.there is no other fee remitted from students.

Fees and Financial Aid

for students, there are many scholarships that they can apply for. depending on your family income, you can apply for many. like E-grants, which refunds all the fees that you pay.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus is quite good and vaste. one of the major problems is that the campus is not a closed one. so anyone can access the university campus anytime. The rest of it is all really good. there is a great central library for students.and almost all facilities are available.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

for a university student, the best part of his college life is the hostel life. The university has arranged good facilities at the university campus itself, there is 2 single bed along with study tables in a room. wifi connection is also available.

Alumni/Alumna

currently, there is a good relationship with alumni and is keeping a good alumni network initiated by the university itself.

Admission

we have to write the CUSAT admission test by April and the results we be published by June 1st week. I haven't mentioned that this course requires an entrance test due to some network errors after results published, the allotment process starts which usually have 4-6 allotments.there are also reservations. after getting the allotment, you have to attend at the university campus for admission.

Faculty

4

there are nearly 10 permanent faculties,1 inspire faculty and 8-12 guest faculties. most of them are qualified with PhD. all the faculties are open to interacting with students. and many of them are really kind and supportive to students everywhere. We can even contact them by phone calls.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Obviously this physics course is tough but the influence of the teachers and other staff made us too motivated and the systematic exam schedule helped us to complete our portion before the exams and there is some more time for the revision purpose.. There teaching method are so useful and they treat us so politely and in friendly nature. So its too easy to clear doubt and feel comfortable to ask them and clear anything.. Its so helpful for us to complete our exam nicely...

Remarks:

JEE Rank was the main factor. The facilities like hostel, labs, etc mentioned in the IIT Palakkad website. During the allotment process, one senior girl student of my branch contacted me and cleared all my doubts whether it was small or big, placement details, etc. After the rankings were released, based on the previous years cut-off ranks, I was able to get a fair idea about the colleges I would be able to join among all the IITs, NITs, IIITs. Based on JEE Mains rankings, NIT or IIITs can be chosen. Based on JEE Advance ranking, IIT can be chosen. Also, 2 mock allotment will take place which gives a fair idea of which allotment we will get. These mock allotment will be based on our preferences. We can change them after the mock. Then the actual allotment will start. Once we finalise our preferences and lock them, there will be 7 rounds of allocation. 3 options will be given in each round-Float, Freeze,Slide (details will be clearly mentioned in the website). Once you are allocated a seat in any round, document verification will take place (seat acceptance fee must be paid at this stage).
