Recently the college has bagged the 2nd position in Tamil Nadu in academics, it's a really fast-growing institution.

CIT has specialised exam and preparation structures, which makes the students understand the subjects and make them strong in the core. Their system helps a lot while preparing for final exams and keeps me in track even while participating in many competitions.

The college has widespread connections across the globe and so the internships are. Many top companies like KUKA, TATA, IBM are in placement offers.

The takshashila cultural is the biggest fest where it's conducted for 3days overnight and day with dance, music, art, talent and with some technical events. Career compass is the event in which the high-level peoples and celebrates explain about the current uptrends and career future on their view. Fungenia is the 15 days special event for the newcomers for the engineering field, giving a clear view of all engineering departments and fields and letting them to decide their future.

For this level of academics and COE facilities, these fees are a bit high but the quality is not compromised. The training fees are included in this (25000) which is for these facilities like labs and COE's and also this is for the industrial visits. You have to pre-book your seat by reserving it with a part of this total fees. Pre-booking also helps in an availing concession in total fees.

The college itself offers the scholarship by giving the entrance tests, and also has special concessions on poor and economically backward students too.

There's no partiality between boys and girls, it's obviously co-ed. The sports activities are under development and creating its way but it has strong home teams in various sports and the ground size is huge. College allows every student to participate in competitions that involve both technical and non-technical events. It has international wide exposure in winning the competitions.

Many of the passed out students are still in contact with the institution. These alumni help in elaborating placements and standards of the students. The seniors are so friendly and guide us in all aspects.

I went to the for writing my IIT entrance exam to CIT, there I saw the grade of college by academic and skill-specific, so since I like this college, I applied for admission and with some fees concession. And then the fees were set according to the cut-off marks.

Mostly the lectures are doctorates and polite in nature. There are faculty from anna University and NIT's. These people are highly experienced and dedicated. They have both practical and subject knowledge. The cumulative assessments and student-friendly preparations helps a lot.
