Remarks
Positive - Fees is low as compared to what is provided in terms of education. Negative- There is no Social life in the Campus and no placement. The college is situated in rural area so there is no proper hang out place outside the campus. It's very hard to improve one's personality.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is as outdated as other government college and the course has 8 semesters and we have to take 2 internal exam and end semester exam in a semester. Those who get detained in odd semester, they have to take supplementary exam after even semester.
Placement Experience
Though the university has central placement cell but the placement actual situation is pathetic. There is no proper infrastructure to conduct placement interviews, very few companies come for placement and there is almost null placement in B. tech course.
College Events
The university celebrates its foundation day and the school of engineering conducts Techno-Cultural Fest named as "Equilibrio" which is usually organized in the month of January. Besides there is a magazine club known as UDAAN.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible. For 1st year of B. tech. It is around 78, 000 and 2nd year onwards fees is less as we don't have pay any caution money. The semester tuition fee is around 12000 and in a semester all fee sum up to around 15000.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarship provided by the university. There are merit as well as need based scholarship available. BPL category students tuition fee is reimbursed provided that the student has 75% attendance and 6. 0 SGPA in a semester. Besides there are merit based scholarship too and the Blind students hostel mess fee is reimbursed.
Campus Life
The extra curricular infrastructure provided is decent. There is badminton court, basket ball court, kho-kho court, cricket as well as football ground. Besides, there are indoor games available too such as caroom, table tennis.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are decent but they very few are good in their respective field. There is no proper interaction between junior and senior and they don't guide the juniors, although sophomore are trying to conduct alumni meet so that students can benefit from their experience.
Admission
I took Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and the counseling was conducted by JoSAA/CSAB and then I had to report physically to the institute to accept my seat and then they verified my documents and I was given admission.
Faculty
There is sortage of faculties. There are very few permanent faculty and their teaching quite average. Although there are some helpful faculties too who help for the preparation of GATE exam. Overall faculties are better than a tier 4 private college.
