Remarks

This is the best college I have ever seen in my life. The extra curricular activities are always inviting there are movie screening, Ted talks, celebrity coming and giving talk on different fields of life.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is eleventh and twelfth PCM. There are two exam JEE main and JEE advenced. JEE is advanced is a six hour exam and tougher than JEE main. The exam requires comprehensive knowledge of subject and calculations.

Placement Experience

IIT Kanpur has one of the best placement statistics in India and highest packages are about 1. 5 crore the internship opportunity are mainly availabile in third year. I being first year haven't got any till know.

College Events

Antaragni is the main cultural fest. This one of the greatest cult fest of India and hundreds of colleges participate in this fest. Techkriti is the tech. Fest and Galaxy is the inter Hall cultural fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite flexible and depends on your total family income. And there are many scholarship like MCM and donor scholarships. My current fees is about 1. 5 lakhs per year and I get about 70 thousand scholarship.

Fees and Financial Aid

This college has so many scholarship and the two banks here provide loans at very less interest. I am getting about 66 percent acedmic fee waiver. And I haven't applied for any loan because my father didn't want me to get one.

Campus Life

There are always some activities happening out here. We have two labs every week. Gender ratio is about 0. 2 there are many clubs and societies so we can join as many as we want. Students are from everywhere in India.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I live in hostel number 13 it is the best hostel here and also the newest we have three seater and Two seater rooms this has best infrastructure and mess food is fine and cleanliness is quite appreciated.

Alumni/Alumna

There are many alumni the founder of Wipro is from our college and the alumni network is very strong. One of the alumni came here for a talk today on start up information. The alumni are very kind and gentle.

Admission

I prepared 2 years for JEE advanced and got admission in second attempt. After passing JEE there were seven rounds of JOSAA counselling. After that I reported to IIT kanpur and accepted the seat. After reporting to IIT pay fees and you are admitted.

Faculty

Faculties here are highly qualified and have Masters and PHD degrees. And prof. HC Verma a recipient of Padma shree also taught here. The teaches have depth knowledge and the medium of instruction is English.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. Life @ IITK

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
