In a nutshell, things are good but having said that it can be improved. The library can be more improved and canteen can be made 24X7 for students. Madhya Pradesh-Pre Engineering Test - 98th rank - Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science was the best college I can get with MP Feasible. It is an autonomous college and fees were very less. But I guess now the fees have increased a lot of things have changed since then. The college has a lot of scholarship to offer.

The course curriculum is very good as our course is totally based on gate exam syllabus so it will help us for gate exam, exams are held according to semester exam papers are designed very well and it is held in our institute only no need to go other places for exams due to students convenience. The exam pattern in the college is semester. There are two semesters in each year And exam is conducted by the college itself.

Placement in this college is good. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered 3- 4 LPA. The top role offered for my course is the Manager. There are many companies that provide internships for students in Indore and out of Indore, and students also did their internships from different government organizations. This college doesn't provide private internships on its own but it gives the expenses of the internship if you do.

Facilities are extended to the students to take part in various types of literary and cultural activities. Social gatherings, fiesta, fresher's day, hostel night, etc. are the regular annual events taking place in the Institute. Students are also participating in inter-collegiate and inter-university competitions and youth festivals. Some of them are as follows: ABHYUDAYA: SURSANGAM: PAINTING COMPETITION.

SGSITS offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the fields of engineering, management, computer applications, science, and pharmacy. The tuition fees for the major programs are given below: The tuition fee for all BE programs is INR 74000 per annum. The tuition fee for all ME programs are INR 37, 500 per annum. The tuition fees for all M. Sc programs is INR 10, 000 per annum.

Students are advised to take advantage of these by applying in time when applications are invited for the same. The Institute has a rich tradition of hosting a number of cultural, techno-cultural, and literary events. Every year the Institute organizes cultural events for the students in both semesters. Apart from this, there are a large number of hobby clubs which conduct their activities throughout the year. The academic session starts with a fresher’s day “Aavahan”. This program is exclusively designed for the fresh students joining the Institute. In this program, the freshers get an opportunity of getting introduced to the Director of the Institute and Deans, along with the Professor In-charge of cultural and literary affairs. The students listen to the orientation lectures of the Director, Dean Student Welfare, Dean Academics, and Professor I/c Cultural and Literary Affairs. A cultural program is organized on this occasion. This program generally includes various events of music, drama, compeering, and inter-branch competition.

No, I didn't get in the hostel. Hostels for both boys and girls. A new hostel is in progress. Fees are around 3000 per month There are many PGs and other options outside college nearby to the college. The price varies according to how many share the room and the quality still 4500-5500 is the average. It is good. A new Canteen has been opened recently. For a full healthy meal, it will cost around 50. The quality of classrooms are good for some departments and others are renewing. Same for the labs. The library is well maintained and had a lot of books. The wifi is recently installed its speed is good.

Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science, Indore was established in 1952. SGSITS is recognized as a leading institute in the state of Madhya Pradesh and the western region consistently during its glorious journey of sixty years. It has been ranked among the top 30-40 institutes on a national level (including IITs and NITs) by independent bodies. Further looking to its credentials, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi, has declared the institute as autonomous in 1989. Under the autonomous state, the institute is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya (university of technology of M. P. ) Bhopal. Presently, the institute offers ten UG courses (Regular), four UG courses (Part-time), PG programs with twenty-two specializations, two part-time PG courses in various disciplines under the emerging areas of Engineering, Technology, Applied Sciences, Computer Applications, Management & Pharmacy.

There are two ways by which one can get admission to this College. In the B. E. program to get admission in the first year at first you have to pass 12th with PCM as the main subject and then after appearing in JEE MAIN exam then a merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained get admission in this College. In second-year diploma holders can get admission after completing their diploma degree and appearing in the exam.

Mostly our faculties are from good institutes such as IIT or nits and experienced with well-known knowledge. They are always there for students and also they are supporting in nature it may be financially or regarding studies.
