Atasi Dalal's Review On Ravenshaw University - [RU], Cuttack

This college teaches me a lot I overcome a narrow minded thinking after starting study in this college it not only make a student but also providing good humans to society teaches them love affection kindness and talent to beat the aim of their life. Yes for me it is a big yes for my college I would like to invite everyone to take admission in our college and being high ambitious.

I am studying statistics in Ravenshaw. Our syllabus is quite student friendly as it is according to the syllabus of Delhi University. And the syllabus helps us to prepare for the all exams like postgraduate entrance exam in other renounced colleges but it's also a thing that our syllabus is not that much student friendly as it covers all the course for study but not in detail. Our examination procedures is quite good rather than other colleges as all the examination of all year student are done in very nearby dates and under very strict inviligators as our course partner in CHSE we have to write a lot with proper wording and write answers.

About placement and internship it's average as in many departments there are very poor placement system and in some there are not and internship yes our college provides internships in many department including statistics.

Yes various events celebrate in our college our college annual day and sports day and a food exhibition hold every year in our college rather than ever department celebrate their annual day and fresher and farewell various national sports events are frequently organized in our university.

Fee structure is quite student friendly as various categories of student studying in our university according to all considering the all our fee structure is quite affordable and feasible we have to pay approx 6000/-in a year per semester our college fee was like approx 2000/-and readmission fee is 5000/-rs.

Yes various scholarship provide in our college like prerana chatrabrutti, zindal scholarship, central scholarship for 2000/-to 10000/-per year and various other scholarships are for sports. Yes some loan facilities are also there in our college.

Yes our college is first in extracurricular activities various blood donation champ organization time to time in our college and various workshops held in our college the resent work shop was a food workshop and various book workshops are also organized our university takes sports so serious various national sports organization held in our college.

Yes I have opted a hostel. I am in Daya hostel the room quality is so good with marvel attached floor one cupboard one self and a bed in each room there are 4 students and our food quality is average and in veg days the food quality is worst. Our bed fee is 300/-rs per month and food charge is 1200/-rs per month each meal cost 20/-rs per day two times we get meal in lunch time and in dinner time and rest we have to pay from our hand.

Our seniors are very helpful I must say I am nothing without their support and love they make a good bounding between junior and senior by strictly avoiding raging and other unsocial work they help a lot in our study I often goes to them when I face any doubt in my study they tell me about the scope and the other advantages of my honors as what can I do after completing study for here.

After my chse board examination it was a dream for me like every student in Orissa to get a chance in this college and I applied online in Ravenshaw university admission website and it required to give my 10th certificate marksheet, my adhar card copy my date of birth certificate copy and my 12 th mark sheets copy and admission fee which was 300/-rs the the merit list declared in ravenshaw website and I was so glad that i got a chance because my name was in that list and rank was 56 soo as my stream was so unique and not many students want to get admission in that stream so i got a chance through the admission procedure as it was held in seventh pillar of wisdom I was like wow because my dream is starting from this the great seventh pillar of wisdom and after waiting for 2hours the selection board announced my name with all my original documents to be verify and with a bank receipt to be deposited and yes like that I got admission in Ravenshaw.

Our university professor and faculty are very much highly qualified and most renounced as I know my department professors are all doctorate as they complete their pHD in statistics and two were such old that our one professor Dr. Udayanth thought our one professor Dr. Senapati and they two are the gold of our department as the talent level is unbeaten and our HoD is also a very renounced and talent one as he clear all doubt as difficult in one second I was so blessed to have them in our department and other faculties are also very good.
