Remarks
Overall I will say that the college offers a good set of facilities required by an engineering student to get a good technical knowledge. It develops the overall personality of our engineers in other fields also. The negative point about our college is that it lacks to provide a good exposure based upon it's location located at sindri, which is a remote area. College should have been located in Dhanbad or Ranchi to get a good township exposure.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Structure is well acquainted with new syllabus and have all the required criteria based on the morden engineering requirements. Examination pattern is semester wise and is often hectic as the analysis is done throughout the semester through various test and assignments. The daily schedule is quite busy and leave us with a light hectic day.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are very good at BIT SINDRI. Placements are quite good in my branch that is electrical engineering. The average package of placement is 9 lakhs. Ranging from 22 lakhs placement to 8 lakhs placement, we have a diverse range of placement packages. The college also provides internship through the online internship platform internshala. I have done two internships as a content writer and digital marketer with a total stipend of 10, 000 rupees. My internship experience was very good.
College Events
There are various college activities held in bit sindri Ranging from cultural activities to technical activities. Bit cultural fest bitaansh was a great success this year and technical fest sandhaan is all time success and are highlighted fests of the college as it provides the students to show their talent on a diverse level.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is very good and is affordable. The annual fee is around 10, 000 and other fee sum up to 7000. The mess fee is 3000 per month which is to be submitted to mess contractor itself. Overall the fee Structure is affordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
College offers various scholarships for economically weak students and meritorious students based on their performance in a particular semester. This scholarship criteria varies from branch to branch. The scholarship amount varies from 2000 to 10000 based upon the criterias set by college for scholarships.
Campus Life
Sports activities are average at our college. For all types of sports activities we have a club ground which have facilities to accommodate all types of sports activities. We have an annual sports fest spardha which provides students to compete and enhance their sportsmanship qualities.
Hostel Facilities
I have opted for hostel and the hostel infrastructure is excellent. We have got the renewed hostels, the condition is excellent. We have well maintained rooms and water facilities. The infrastructure is well built and is good for accomodation of 100 students per hostel. We often rate 9 and above on a scale of 10 of our hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network of Bit sindri is one of the most strongest network in India. Alumni of Bit sindri are located at top level of each and every public sector units and they are also located in various MNCs around the world.
Admission
I have got admission through jcece examination in 2017 held by jharkhand government for selection of students in various state engineering colleges. I got 87 common merit list rank in this examination with a score of 90. 5 out of 150 marks. Admission is done through the rank secured in this examination. From 2019 onwards the selection process is done through merit list of jee mains examination.
Faculty
Faculty at BIT SINDRI are well acquainted with morden engineering knowledge and are very good at practical application of each and every discipline of engineering. Many of them are research scholars and are qualified to deliver the excellent engineering knowledge. Faculties at BIT SINDRI are very much interested to deliver the lecture in a particular course and they have also excelled the lecture delivering tactics.
