Enjoyable life at sastra

The curriculum is designed by sastra itself and it's very much updated.The syllabus keeps on updating.if you are interested in research then this will be one among the best in india.The labs are very well equipped and if you are idea is so great you will offered to do research in worldwide labs(one or two). There are 3 internal exam and a sem exam. The grade will decided from both the exams equally.Best of two intenal will be taken for 50 and the Sem for 50 so with this the grade will be decided. If you get less in an exam don't need to worry other 2 are there.

Most or all the student are placed inside the campus itself. Companies like Bosch, Rockwell Collins, cypress, TCS, CTS, wipro, Zoho, Amazon, PayPal, L&T, TVS, infosys visit every year.If you are very well talented you will be placed in core companies and if you are not good at studies don't worry TCS will hire most of the students.

There are 3 major events in sastra. Colosseum -Sport competition across tamilnadu college it will a huge event and conducted fully by the students of sastra.Most of the colleges will participate. Daksh-Technical fest of sastra and here most of the workshops hackathons and robotics events will be conducted and for this also more colleges will participate. Kuruksastra-Cultural fest in sastra. Don't expect more from this as no well know celebrities will be present.but you can enjoy music and the dance competition.

The fee structure is very feasible and also educational loan will be given at the counselling itself based on your interst the total tuition fees comes around 6 lakhs for 4 year and for each Sem 68750.

The education loan can be availed at the time of counselling itself and If you are in top 100 of whole university you will be excluded from hostel fees for that year. And there conditions other the marks to avail scholarship. you must maintain 90% attendance. No late fees must be paid. No illegal activities done.

The male female gender ration is almost equal. The culture across the campus is very good and girls are only allowed with chudidars inside college. There are strict rules for girls so that no sexual related problem are caused. The most of students here are Brahmin but there are no caste and gender discrimination all are treated equally. The economic status of each student are almost same.

The hostel infrastructure is far more better for the fees which we are giving. The room rent will vary From 12000 to 24000 per year based on number of people in a room. And the mess is fully veg no non veg is allowed inside college. The mess fees per month comes around 3000-4000.

The alumni network are very good and the seniors are very friendly. Most of the time they will lectures and seminars from the alumins who are working in well know companies. No ragging in done in college as well as hostel.

First all the students have to apply for the college through online portal.There are 2streams to get admission. Through jee main and 12th Mark (70% Of seats are filled in this). Through 12th mark only (30% filled in this) Once you have applied they will realese rank list based on your mark for both stream,you will be called for counselling first for stream 1 then for stream 2.You can attend both if you are eligible and there are vacant seats left.There are separate tamilnadu, all India and trichy thajavur quotas are present. Once you have been called for counselling select the desire branch based on vacancy and give the fee and you can come back home happily.

Most of the teacher are PhD completed professor. They are very helpful in guiding the students. The professor are well trained before they take a particular paper. Most of the professor will involve in research works and if students are interested and talented they you can join them for research.
