Remarks
College is good with placements, fees, facilities and labs. The hostel can be a bit better. There are separate labs for different activities and extra knowledge. Research related work can also be done in the labs.
Course Curriculum Overview
B. Tech. in Biotechnology is very research oriented. We are made to do much of the practical and research related work in our labs. The college also offers M. Tech. in biotechnology which allows students to study their post graduation in this college.
Placement Experience
Placement is good. A lot of companies come to the college for placements. Trainings are also provided to the students prior to interviews and tests. Internships are also provided for some branches. These internships are without stipends.
College Events
The college celebrates a lot of events such as Freshers, Farewell, Sports Fest every year, Technical Fests every year, Musicana, Antradhwani, Independ day, Republic day, Founder's day. The celebration is in the form of Musical and dance performances.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is fine as compared to other colleges in the area. It is not that expensive. Also there is an option of fee waiver for the students who can not afford whole fees. Fees can also be submitted in instalment.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is an option to apply for scholarship which is provided by UP government. All the students can apply to it except the ones whose parents have a government job. Approximately half of the fees is provided back if you get the scholarship.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are also provided by the college. Fests are there. Musical events are there. Theatre is also there in the college. There is no discrimination of gender, race, religion, sex, politics or economic status in the college.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumini are quite helpful. They guide a lot. We can keep in touch with them through different social networks or through the allumini meet. They guide about the examinations and placements. Alumini also keep in touch with the college students.
Admission
I gave UPTU exam. I cleared it. I had choices to select for counselling. I selected this college and was interviewed before admission. My interview was related to what I had studied in class 12th. I had chosen biotechnology in B. Tech. as I had biology as a subject in 12th.
Faculty
The faculties are quite supportive and helpful. They are very knowledgeable. They teach through ppts and books. They cover whole syllabus. Faculties let us make notes of every topic in the classroom.
