Remarks

Very good campus with low fees low hostel fee. Wid campus, Profesers are very good. Facilities are world class. Politics is the only minus in this campus

No entrance needed to get addmission on this college. Need more than 85% mark for english in plus two. Merit wise addmission will given total of an 60 seats

Course Curriculum Overview

BA English this course based on imporving our knowlege about english language and litterature. Also help to explore more about english novels poems and essays too.

College Events

Big festival which our college conducted was cricket tournement. Its inter college tournament and 15 colleges will participate on it. We are campions for last 7 years

Fee Structure And Facilities

Kerala university this is govenment college. So hostel fee mess fee course fee are very low than other private college. Hostel fee is 2000 per month and no course fee here.

Educational loans are avalible for all students need to provid course certificate to bank

Campus Life

Campus life are too enjoyable. Gender ration is also very good. 10 seats are reserved for girls. Politics are strong here.

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students
