Review of JEC

Our college in the oldest government college of the state and is among the most prestigious institutes of the state. The syllabus is majorly focused on providing us with practical as well as theoritical experience. Labs provide us with basing understanding of machines. Our college is spread over 230 acers of land it also has a branch of state bank a post office a hospital as well.

The coarce curriculum is strictly according to RGPV Syllabus. Althought this is an autonomus institute it follows syllabus of RGPV the labs are designed to familiarize students with equipments that one would need to use althought most of it out of date but it gives us pretty good understanding. The exams are perfect balance of theory and numericals it tests our concepts as well as our speed. Our day are not very hectic and at the end of the day we are not much tired and have learned sufficiently.

Placement and job opportunities in this institute are not very good as mainly the companies of CSE and IT come core companies of varieous other branches do not come in abundence average stipend is 3. 2 lacks in TCS Wipro etc.

We have a sports fest every other year and a tech fest every four years. Students participate in these events in large amounts these improve the intractions and coordination between students of various branches and years. These are very important for the overall development of students.

Fee structure of this college us very feasible this is the cheapest engineering college of the state. This is the most economic college. Fee is only 23000 a year excluding exam fees. And hostel and mess fee is also very less.

Our college provides scholorship for finantially weak students of various categories and medhavi students who have scored good marks in their board exams. Scholorship is sent directly to the student's bank account. This scholorship is more than fees and is very helpful to poor students.

Our college allows us to participate in various comptitions inside and outside of our college and lets us participate in various intercollege comptiations and sends us to national level comptions and events. Our college provide us with seminars and expert lectures which help us with our future planning.

Seats in hostel are limited and therefore students go for hostel outside to the campus and various other PG's the average rent is 2000 and 2000 for mess. Generally students prefer hostels. PG's are prefered for girls. After first year students tend to city as they like to take coaching.

Alumini Network of our institute is very good we have several very sucessful alumini who are very much intrested in helping the students and are very much considerate in the development of our college.

To get admission in Jabalpur Engineering College one has to appear in JEE MAINS. Admissions in this college are based on merit list of JEE MAINS. Student has to register on MP Online for councilling and then fill this college in choice filling then it is alloted.

Facilities of our college are either too experienced or not at all senior teachers have a very good understanding and very capable of teaching whereas younger teachers as not as much experienced yet they work very hard and are as good.
