Remarks
The college is very popular college in north kolkata. It is renowned college. The college has some gret history and will make some great history in upcoming time. I am proud of my college. Surendranath college Hip Hip Hurrah.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I first admitted was zoology Honours. with chemistry and physiology as general subjects. The faculty of this course are very highly qualified. and they guided us like our parents. the lab are very well equipped.
Placement Experience
Placement cell was not very active in my college. But at my zoology department they conduct some placements or internship. but I did'nt sit in the placement. and also I am not aware that my friends got the job from that placement cell or not.
College Events
Every year our college conduct a cultural fest called Lakshya. at my 1st year it was conducted at Netaji Indoor Stadium. Arijit Singh was the guest performer of that night. and that was a really enjoyable dat. Apart from this the college also conduct freshers welcome as well as the department from every course.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is bareable. We had to pay the admission fee at the begining of every academic year. that was taken by the college. and at the time of exam we had to pay the exam fees. that was taken by university.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was some scholarship but it was not given by the college. those are government sponsored. I had avail a scholarship at the 1st year. It was a minority scholarship. It was based on my 12th result. I got Rs. 4000 from that scholarship.
Campus Life
Our college conduct college sports every year. Our college is very active in politics. The student union is our college strength. They take care of every students problem. they assured us the to give the great facilities about our studies, our security etc. We make a great example of gender equality.
Alumni/Alumna
There were lots of student passed from college but we are not connect well. But in our own small group of friends from college we are still connected. there is a group in facebook called surendranth college. we get every news of our college.
Admission
I got the admission through the merit list according my 12th result. I was not not in the 1st list but in the 2nd list my name came up. I was very excited at that moment. Then I went to college office and paid my admission fees and got admitted
Faculty
The faculties are very highly qualified. They guided us very well. They support us in our hard times like close relatives. Whenever we were in problems in study or our personal life they stand beside us like a good friend. I am proud of our faculties.
