All the departments are almost fine and the icar team has visited cillege recently for accreditation. They were impressed. The college gives you great natural beauty and pleasant atmosphere to study. Vellayani lake is near to the college.

Agricultural science is a professional degree course and it deals with around 20 depts. It is diverse and practical oriented with adequate job opportunities. Course is of four years duration in which first 6 sems are theory + practicals while next 2 sems are more a kind of practical exposure to various sections of agriculture.

Placements are less. bt there are opportunities to get placement through pvt banks. RAWE programme of 7th sem is similiar to internship which offers around 8000 rs as stipened. This amount is total of state university fund and icar fund. rawe is of 16 modules and useful to students.

All the major events and festivals are celebrated in the college. As it is located kn Keralas capital, thiruvanathapuram. It give high importance to onam celebration as well as christmas celebration. Major national and historic moments are also celebrated in the college.

Fee structure is feasible. around 10000 rs is the sem wise fee. There will be additional fee for mess and tour packages. the course is consisting of two compulsory tour courses north india and southindia tours.

Loan facilities are availble from pta. but there is a limit. Otherwise no loan or scholarship s offered. Bank loans are available.

Labs. sports. cultural contests etc. are active kn the college under college union. There is a big ground for cricket as well as footbal. indoor stadium with basket ball court and badminton court. arts festivals are conducted every year.

Avwrage of 3500-4000 rs is the monthly fee of hostel and mess. for pg students, if other accomodation facilities are available incase of need. there is no other hostel fee. and the main fee comes for mess.

The association of alimini is active and give contributions to the college as well as students. They are ready to give coaching to competitive examinations and facilities are made available for those purpose.

NEET examination conducted by CBSE is the only way to get admission in this college. You have to apply via KEAM medic stre also to take participate in the allotment process conducted by kerala entrance commissioner.

The professors ans assistant professors are well qualified with Phd and engaged kn research activities too. They are helpful in cracking the examination and for getting practical knowledge on agriculture disciplines.
