Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was designed in order to provide a holistic view of general management, at least for the first two-semester. We studied subjects like operation, finance, human resource, marketing, etc. From the third sem. our area of focus shifted towards the specialization.
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty good at our college. Companies recruit students for a profile like a consultant, marketing manager, operations, etc. Some of the companies which visited during my batch were Airtel, Amazon.com, Axis Bank, Bank of America, BHEL, Cognizant, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My annual MBA fee was around 53k which was below par, making it one of the cheapest professional programs in the region. This fee included my registration fee, tuition fee, examination fee, etc. Our college is pretty flexible with the fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of their academic performance. Meritorious students are awarded a scholarship every year. On the other hand, students belonging to a minor or reserved category are awarded relaxation in the fee.
Campus Life
Campus life was pretty eccentric. Students participated in a number of activities like cultural dance, skit, rangoli competition etc. The first formal event of our academic session was the orientation program, and the informal event was the fresher's party, which was all fun.
Admission
The admission process is pretty straight forward. Students are evaluated on the basis of their academic performance throughout and TSICET entrance exam scores. The applicant must have a graduation degree to be eligible for applying for the Master's program.
Faculty
Faculty was pretty educated and some of them were Ph.D. holders, while others also had a relevant degree. The method of teaching was pretty unique. They used live examples to better explain a topic. The guest lectures were also very informative and helped us in expanding our view.
