Improving by Surveying

This college is an excellent place from where the leaders of the world could emerge. It promotes startups and needs to improve in the research areas when compared to the IIT’s. It needs to improve it’s gender ratio and if possible slightly reduce the fees. The 0% attendance helps us focus on our projects and learn what interests us more than some of the courses which we just need to do.

The course curriculum is good and there are lost of opportunities for new ideas. It’s not particularly research oriented but there is a lot of good opportunities if we look for them. The exams are well structured with frequent quizzes to keep us up to date. The labs can be a bit hectic though.

The placement of our campus is decent but i think that our campus is underrated in the placement aspect. The people who get job from here are generally passionate engineers. Our college provides various internship opportunities through practice schools which is a specialty of our college. The overall experience will grow as I am just in my first year.

Atmos : The tech fest where various technical workshops and talks take place. It is a place of innovation. It’s one of the biggest tech fests of south india. Arena: The sports fest where people from different colleges come to compete with us in different sports. It’s a pretty big event. Pearl: The cultural fest which displays the campus culture by conducting various pro shows and competitions for the students and invites highly skilled people to teach us about their life experiences. It’s one the best fests in India.

The fee structure is slightly more but there is a lot of scope to get a decent scholarship. The facilities and the cleanliness we get actually justify the slightly extravagant fees. The fees structure is like tution fees , caution deposit and, hostel and mess fees.

The college offers Merit cum need scholarship and Merit scholarship. The college also provides opportunities by sending students to avail scholarships given by different private organisations. I was sent for Aditya Birla Scholarship.

The is a lot of scope for extracurricular activity as there are highly skilled individuals in our campus who really lift up the game to the next level. The gender ratio is a bit low but so is the case with almost all engineering colleges its about 9:1(male:female). There are extensive workshops to teach us things out of the course. There are various cultural societies and each of them respect each other and help each other during the festivals. There is no discrimination with regard to anything.

The hostels are very clean with good management. We have balconies and there is a playing qt where we play badminton and volleyball. There are provisions for table tennis in every floor. There is are televisions in every common room. The infrastructure is really good with internet speed which is good but can be way more better.

The alumni network is very strong and a separate group is made where we can interact with our alumni. It’s expected to grow even stronger. The senior students are very helpful and have helped me adjust to this new environment and give me a pretty good guidance by telling me things that i can explore and even helping me with my projects.

I liked coding and that’s what made me chose this course and the admission process involved gicing bitsat exam after which we had to fill in our preferences for the branch and campus , then we had five rounds of selection and i got cs in hyderabad campus. After coming here we had to give our 10th and 12 th marksheet along with other important documents.

The faculty is very interactive and passionate to teach any thing in or outside the course. They involve students in their research work and overall are an integral part in the success of the institute. They are open to hear about new ideas and give important suggestions. They are highly qualified individuals with research papers on various topics.
