Remarks
Positive aspect is that it brings big it companies during campus every year and it trains you well that almost every one will get placed in atleast a company. Negative thing is that the fees is comparable to what studenrs pay in a engineering college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Everything is theorotical process and we will exams every month. There will three internal and then we will have our semester exams. Course strucuture is ok but it needs to be updates as some of the subjects are not even used in any of the it companies. Practical labs are not used much effectively as only 12 programs are being practised every semester.
Placement Experience
Placements are good as many major it companies visit our campus every year. It is the important aspect of our college. But if a student got selected in a big company he is freezed and he cannot attend any other company.
College Events
It will be the biggest disappointment if you join this college there is no cultural no pongal fest no festival functions in our college. There will be some technical events which is conducted every year dress code is followed strictly only shirts are allowed.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very high in this college. It is one of the major disadvantages of this college. For a arts college the money collected is little too high. It averages around 42000 each semester. It will be higher if there are more practical exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are provided to students who have high marks in their 12th standard by shanthi social service team. They will pay you 10000 for each semester if you score above 1100 in 12th standard and good marks in 10th standard.
Campus Life
Sports are encouraged but it is less when compared with other college. Infrasture in this college is the best in town it will amaze every time you see it. Extracuricular activities like tamizh mandram are being practised regularly.
Alumni/Alumna
In our college we have good raputation among our seniors they help us to understand the working of this college. They will help us during placements on teaching us how to approach the placements and tell us how to crack them.
Admission
I had got the seat after they verify the marks and I chose this course because it is the latest addition to the computer science stream. Admission process is based open the marks you score in the 12 standard. Admission will be prioritized based on the marks locality etc.
Faculty
Some of the faculty have very good knowledge but the portion seems to be little outdated. Faculties have good speaking skills but every faculty is made to teach different subjects they are not used according to their speciality.
