Course Curriculum Overview

The course I choose that is so helpful to me. This is a curriculum based on CBCS Method that's provide by UGC. The exams are so good to us. Laboratory and library are also available in our college. We are so happy about our college.

Placement Experience

There is no opportunities for job and placements. As the college is a degree college so it's only gives us only Three year degree certificate and marksheet. The college is under BANKURA UNIVERSITY. My college doesn't gives us internship.

In our college we celebrate Saraswati Puja, Netaji's Birthday, Republic Day, Gandhiji's Birthday, Ambedkar Jayanti, Rabindra Jayanti, Nazrul Jayanti, Teachers' Day, Vivekananda's Birthday, Vidya Sagar Jayanti.

Our college gives us opportunities for students to provide scholarships. The State government scholarships like Kanyashree, Yubashree, Rupashree, Vigyan scholarships, Vivekananda Scholarship. College gives us a very helpful scholarships that's called half fee.

Our college has a medium budget economy. There is female students are greater than the male students. Teachers make a cultural society in our college. There are mainly three religions belong. These are Hindu, Santali and Islam.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are helpful to us. Because in each and every work with out their help we fail. They help us to give us many important notes, books. They help us in our projects. In exam time they give us their questions.

Admission

In Sonamukhi College i was admitted through the merit list. Then I choose my preferred subjects. These are Education, Philosophy and Bengali. I had chosen those subjects because I just completed D. El. Ed in 2017.

Faculty

Facilities are too good. The position of the college is beside the main road and the railway station is located near the college so, our haunt to college is so nice. In the college there is subject wise classes.

The field tricks are done sometimes to make us understand the reality and the course is really good. I love that and the field trip helps us a lot to explain and to learn things that happening around us and foods are provided from the school or sometimes on trips, I'm really happy with my college.

A place to enhance skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because it has lots of scope in future to get a job and also it is a good subject or my National language. In this college lots of faculty has been given to the students. Well, I am also a new student but I can say that all teaching and non teaching staff and also the office staff are very humble to the students and they help us a lot. I am in B.A. 1st year student and lots of faculty has been given by our beloved teachers and office staff. The teachers are very humble by nature and the way they taught us is really mind blowing I am very grateful that I am a student of those teachers. In every 6 months, you have to give one semester examination and as I already told you that I am a new student and my exam is in February month so I do not have experience with the paper and how difficult it to pass but I can say you read properly you can pass the exam in Good marks.

There is no such difficult situation to get admission in our college usually one can apply to it only after passing higher secondary. You can apply to our college through any online cafe or mobile. There is a subject-wise separate fee for applying. Generally, the admission process in our college starts in the month of May and June. Yes there is advance reservation process.
