Our batch studied under the regulation called CBCS( choice based credit system). We were given the flexibility of choosing faculty, Courses. If you are interested to learn courses which is from other majors you can also enroll in them and learn. Exam wise 50 % for Internal and 50% from External exam. You need to get a cumulative 50% to pass.

In our batch placement percentage is of 95%. Top players like Google, Amazon, flipkart, microsoft came for placement offering package as per their industry standard. Also they offered Internships to pre final year students.

Mitafest - Annual Cultural Extravaganza. (Oldest Cultural Fest in Chennai). Samhita - A National level Technical Symposium (Around 5K Footfalls last year). Best thing in cultural or technical symposium students have their learning in management skills apart from curriculum.

Its affordable as it comes under the hood of government. Also there are many scholarship schemes available for those who are unable to afford it. Apart from that students can seek help from alumni network which will do the needful.

There is a separate entity for managing scholarship sanction. All government scholarship schemes available for those who are eligible. Apart from that scholarship from alumni network and institute aided scholarship and interest free loans for college fees. Scholarship schemes from FFE and other organisations also helpful for students here.

I am not much participated in sports but if you are really interested there are seprate organization running the sports body NSO they help to develop your sportsmanship. NSS and YRC helps those who are interested in serving the nature or society.

MIT follow a tradition called T-Series. Which cannot be seen in any college in india. Where those belongs to same register number fall under a series. they will treat like family. They help in academics, placements and also monetary needs in case of emergency.

I got this seat through TNEA counseling ( Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions). I preferred this course over other as i have interest in computers. Also the main thing to be noted is getting seat from prestigious institution which gave rise to many leaders.
