College Review

There are many things I like about my college. The first thing is it's location and the second thing is it is free ragging campus and also a tobacco free campus. And also the beauty that surrounds the college.

It depends on the course or department your are. I took mechanical so the theory part are really tough and we have to work very hard more than other department or other students. Practical are not much tough as most of the time we do manually and so it becomes more understanding and interesting. There are at present seven subjects, five are theory part and the remaining two are practical.

There are many good opportunities for every students studying in NIT NAGALAND as every year many internship and job opportunities are available provided by many companies or industries across India. But ya in many cases some of the selected students throw away because of the low stipend even if they got a placement.

There are many occasions and events celebrate in our college starting from the smallest to the biggest events. Some of the popular events celebrate in our college are Hold, Diwali, food carnival, Sports meet, Ekarikthin and many more. Among this Ekarikthin is the biggest annual Techno-cultural festival of NIT Nagaland.

As nit's are an institutions of National importance and maintain the central government the free structure and not much expensive and also the tuition fee for every ST/SC students are exempted from the tuition fees.

I don't have much idea or knowledge about scholarship in our college but just recently ICICI Bank offered every students of our college a free credit card and apart from this I guess there are also some good scholarship.

I'm telling you will get sick because of attending ocassion. There is a huge gap in terms of gender as the number of boys is very much higher than the no of girls. Workshop are held around two to thrice a month on various topics. Many students from whole over India studies here. And also every religion on all walks of life study in NIT Nagaland.

The hostels room in NIT NAGALAND I'd pretty good it offers everything that are needed by any students and the room are big with a two person accommodated in each room. It also provides a chair and a table for each students in every room.

Our seniors and alumni are very helpful and also very kind and polite to us. Many a times we use to have are an interactive session with our seniors and also sometimes with our alumni. They motivate us teaches us and always shows us the right path.

To get admission into any IIT/NIT's, at first ones have to clear Joint Entrance Exam (JEE main) Have to clear have to clear JEE Advance to enter into IIT. So it started like this I gave my secondary and after one week I gave the exam for JEE and one month later the result out and I got through and then I registered to try for advance so I gave but I didn't get through so I registered during the allocation period and I got my seat at present college ie. NIT NAGALAND and so o happily joined the college.

As NIT NAGALAND is a very young institution comparing to other institutions so in some department the numbers of teachers are very less and yaa our college administrator are trying at their best to recruit the best and also to let this institutions to be on the top.
