Remarks
Positive remark is, hostels in the campus are A grade. Negative remark can be the extra charges of hostels if living in summer vacations. There is also an unbearable summer. You won't try to go outside the campus in between 11 am to 3 pm.
Course Curriculum Overview
If I talk about course, then there are 4 semesters for M.Sc. First two semesters I had course work and last two, have project work.Exams are also divided into two parts, first is 'Mid-sem' and second is 'End - Sem', which held every semesters and got CPI(Cumulative Performance Index).
Placement Experience
Companies come this college for the placement,where mostly B.Tech and M.Tech students get placed every year. For M.Sc. students other companies also come here but it totally depend on the student weather he wanna go there or not. This college provides internship, but stipend is not given.
College Events
There is also a time comes when a celebration environment like holi, diwali, lohri, ganesh chaturthi, makar sankranti, rakshabandhan goes on every year. Instead of these, there is an annual fest which is organised every year called as 'FLUXUS' held in month of February. Some of the students participate in extra Co curricular activities like music, dance etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee for M.Sc. students goes upto 36k in first semester and then decreases every next semester. For B.Tech students, it's probabily 1.2Lac every year. This fee structure is feasible for M.Sc. students but not for B.Tech guys.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes. Thus college provides loan to students for education. The canara bank which is inside the campus, might facilitate this.Except this this I also have seen PNB bank boards which provide education loan.
Campus Life
There are many clubs you can join like music, dance, literary, if you are interested to get involved in them. Instead of this, there are many sports like football, volleyball, table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton etc. There is also a gym inside the campus.
Hostel Facilities
We are alloted to take institue's hostel. It's mandatory. And hostel rents are deducted from our fee structure. An amount of 8k is initially taken as a security money which is provided at the last of this whole course.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes,there's always an alumni meet every year. You can meet them, can talk about their success and can get an idea to become a successful person. Yes, this helps to students alot.You can participate here when informed by mail.
Admission
I gave an entrance exam called IIT JAM(held every year in February) and after got selected in this exam, there was choice filling options to get admitted in IITs according to my rank.Then after few days, I got one of the IITs in preference order of my choice filled. Hence I got an opportunity to persue M.Sc in physics from IIT Indore.
Faculty
Faculties in IIT Indore are very intellectual and supportive in nature except some of them.Because it's reality that you won't get uniformity everywhere. Though they always help you if you are in trouble with your problems.They generally give you assignments and check your performance everytime. They have knowledge of every student in his/her class. Afterall they all are very good in nature.
