This is a very good university but infrastructure is small but adequate. Library is digital which is very nice. And sometimes few problem arises that too is solved within few days. Hostel mess food is sometimes below average but overall very nice.

Course cirriculam is nicely structured I will suggest those students to take up this course who has a nice rememberance power and all types of sciences of agriculture related ar taught here. Semester exams, mid term exam and practical exam for each course per 6 months interval is held.

Mainly students prepare for jrf and job oppurtunities is very low but if job is highly required then contact the placement officer. No intership provided. If you are among 60% of top students in your year you will get a merit scholarship of rs 2100 per year.

Annual fuction i. e. social held yearly, Annual picnic held yearly, Annual sports held yearly, Swarsati puja held yearly, Viswakarma puja held yearly, Teachers day held yearly, Gandhi jayanti held yearly, Raksha bandhan held yearly.

Feasible, fees is quite low semester fees is required per 6 months and if you are a hosteller you will be charged rs 4900 per 6 months and if you are not an hosteller then you will be charged rs 4300 per 6 months. And a admission fees of 16000 is required only in first semester.

Merit scholrship is give to top 60% students of that year. A rupees of rs 1000 is given per 6 months after seeing their grades of previous semester. But you acn also apply swami vivekanand mericum means schlorship or oasis which is a minority schlorship.

From 1st to 2nd year you will have a compulsory course of physical education with 2 classes in a week. Where you will be taught about various sports related activities and of each course there will be either lab practical or field practical once weekly.

Yes, hostel is quite good each room accomodates 3 students. Electricity issues are nil. Water supply adequate. Sometimes drinking water is a problem but it would be solved soon i hope so. Overall very nice.

Seniors help a lot in academics and competative exams. They help juniors a lot by sharing there experience about junior research fellowship competative exam. They also take preodic exams of juniors so that they get an idea how questions are to be answered in competative exams.

You must have to obtain above 90% in 12th examination for general category students of bengal state board. And for CBSE OR ISC students must get above 94% in 12 th examination then only you miggt get a seat for general studens. There may be 3 counselling for filling up the seats and counselling is online and after your seat is confied you have to pay fees online and then one date is provided and on that day you need to come for document verification at the university.

Faculty is very nice and the professors are highly trained. The departments are also separate in a faculty. The non teaching staff are also very nice and whenever needed they are helpful too. The dean is also very nice.
