My experience in Vignan

My experience in college is very good but there are very minor things that can be improved. They still insist on uniforms, some may find it annoying as your friends from other colleges tease you about your uniform

The course structure is very similar to other colleges in Andhra Pradesh. We have 3 mids in a sem and 6 to 7 subjects per semester Internal marks are taken from mid marks and weekly exams that they conduct every monday Faculty are well qualified and experienced as there are very few students in out batch(101) we have a special bonding with faculty they are very free to interact and very helpful

Placements are good in out university the main recruiter is TCS, companies that pay a good amount also visit our university like TCS Digital, EPAM. Placements training starts from 3:2 itself and they give very good training to face placement interviews

We often have some or the other events going on in university it may be a department level or university level. Mahotsav is the main university level fest celebrated once a year for about 3 days. It has a wide verity of events from sports to cultural. Srujanankura is a tech fest students from other states also visit our campus during that time to show case their projects and ideas

Fee structure is feasible when compared to other universities. But if you are bright student they give you fee concessions based on your JEE rank or Emcet rank. I can give you exact fee because it keeps changing year to year I joint the university in 2016 and I pay 155000 per year Some branches like bio-technology, automobile engineering, petroleum engineering. Have even less fee structure as they are not so popular courses.

They help you if you are eligible for any scholarships provides by state or central government. As said they give fee concessions based on your academic performance but you have to maintain minimum percentage throught the semesters.

We have very good labs with good infrastructure. We also have a sports club which is free to join any one with interest can join our college teams also participate in various sports events As out university is not that popular majority of the students are from AP itself, we have very few students from other states. Foreners from Afghanistan, Ethiopia also study in our university

They conduct alumni meets every year in different places last time it is hosted in Vignan school Hyderabad. There will be a contact with the university through the branch you have studied in. We don't have any alumni clubs in our university, there is an idea to put one, but don't know when it starts

I joined the university through v-sat it is a enterance exam conducted by the university itself. Our university also provides admissions based on emcet rank and JEE rank and also offers fee concessions to students with good ranks. I am an average student it was hard to me as it is only the university exam that I passed, my parents are very keen about by branch and they want me to join CSE as my 10th and inter marks are low they did not give me a seat in CSE and they said they will give a seat in IT(Information Technology) initially my father did not want me to join in IT but he convinced after talking to my relatives who are working in corporate they said that there is no difference between CSE and IT. but now I feel that IT is a good choice.

Faculty are well qualified and experienced as there are very few students in out batch(101) we have a special bonding with faculty they are very free to interact and very helpful. They don't mind even if we go to then in their free hours.
