This is a college where if you want to excel at studies you will be guided very well and will definetly achieve what you aspire and if you just want to enjoy your life while mainting a lowkey study status then there are some who will help you in this also.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has changed now from 2019 batch.the course duration remains 4.5 years + 1 year rotatory compulsory intership. The changes are in the duration of second third and fourth year and subject distribution.
Placement Experience
Like all medical colleges in India there is no placement scene in this college. The college does provide internship for 1 year after completion of 4.5 years. The intership consist of 12 months duration and almost every department is covered.
College Events
There is an annual cultural festival called "Chiasma" held in the month of april and may and an annual sports meet "Atletika" held in the month of october and november. Quiz organised by department of Pharmacology and Ophthalmology.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is almost similar to other private medical colleges in india. The total package of mbbs course varies between 50 lakhs to 70 lakhs, while the pg course may varry from 40 lakhs to 80 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Education loan is being offered by the college in partnership with Punjab National Bank. The loan can be availed by provding necessary documents like fee structure for whole course and is easy and convinient as the bank is a partner of the college.
Campus Life
The labs are well equiped with recent modern euipments well trained lab assistants in every department. The sports facility are average with college having it's own cricket/football field, badminton courts, volleyball court, basketball court and apart from these small parks to sit and relax.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are compulsory for the students. The hostel are average with all basic amenities. Rooms are available on twin sharing and single rooms. The hostel plus mess fees comes to be about 2.5 lakhs.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is not that well developed though some alumni work as professors in the college itself. Although there has not been an alumni meet as long as i know. The senior students however are well versed with the juniors and are quiet helpful.
Admission
You need to give NEET-UG entrance exam then you need to apply for seat according to your state(if you are from uttarakhand) aur management quota(if from any other state). The their will be seat allotment according to your rank and marks among different candidates who have applied.
Faculty
Highly qualified faculty and a good teacher student ratio with special emphasis on making the freshers feel comfortable and relaxed. The faculty is ever ready to help you out in every matter being professional or personal.
