Review of my college MMCC

I'm having a great college life but our toilet is not clean enough, unfurnished walls, desks, dirty class rooms.and our college is situated on the main road near of Shyambazar 5 point. that's why too much pollution.we don't have own College campus and Fields to play.we need to walk at a good distance to practice our games. Indoor college games played are - table tennis, carrom, common room is there too.a library is there.Hostels for the students of long distance home is also available.These are the problems and advantages

Recently no companies came to our college for campusing. but after passing out, our students do well.70% placement result has been registered by sources in recent years.By Economics Honours, we get better opportunities in sections WBCS, IAS, Management, school teaching, job of college lecturer or professor.

Biggest event is annual Fresher's organised for the newly admitted students of the 1st year.we invite bands or famous singers and other celebrities. Except these, we do Rabindra Jayanti, Celebrate Independence Day and Republic Day of India, Saraswati puja, and other cultural programmes very often

Feasible. Union fees, college development fees, tuition fees, library fees, laboratory fees, extra curricular activities fees all together costs 1000-3000 p.a based on subjects. example- Computer science students pay higher than the students of political science

Toppers of every semester get scholarship and prizes.They are too many scholarship available in my college from both the Calcutta university and college itself. current teachers and ex teachers also give scholarships to the students. Kannyashree is a facility designed for girls in which they get 25000 at a time in the college life for studies

Our college sends us in various events or sports like photography, t-shirt painting, football, cricket, table tennis, swimming, singing, dancing, essay writing, Karate, judo etc sometimes in other districts or states and college bears all the expenses of the participants at that time period.We also play intra-college events or sports all the year

Too much helpful, they help us for exams, provide us previous year question papers, guide us, and too much frank, ragging is strictly prohibited in college.and our seniors always guide us and protect us sometimes

Based on merit list. Criteria was 60% in Mathematics /Economics/Business studies + 60% in English and overall 50%.after the online form fill up and counseling dates ( in 2 rounds), cut off was based on best academic.results of Higher Secondary.On the day of counseling, top rank holders of merit lists got direct admission by submitting admission fees rs 2800 in nearby SBI Bank branch of Shyambazar. Mathematics general was compulsory along with Pol sc/statistics/computer science as other optional general subject with the Economics Honours

In my college, there is 4 professors of Economics. Extremely Loved and friendly teachers, They take regular classes, even send us notes via WhatsApp, email, take extra classes. always motivate us in every competition or events
