Good College of UPTU

Positive- Good infrasturcture and helping nature of seniors and teachers. Negative - Focus mainly on theoretical knowledge, students get less knowledge about how to do it practically. But overall good college in comparison to other colleges.

There are various courses in my college. My course is B.Tech. in computer science and engineering branch. Course curriculum is good but not suffiecient as there is more theoretical knowledge than practical knowledge. And the exam pattern are very irritating, we have to give 3 internal exam of all the subject and 1 externa exam of all subject in One semester.

Placements of my college are good. Almost 75% of the students placed till now. Average package is from 2.4 to 4 Lpa. College provided various type of training on various technologies and trained students so that student can easily crack the placement.

There are various events organised in our college, in terms of technical, cultural, social, sports etc. Various coding events are organised at regular intervals so that students become good coder. Annual fest also celebrated named kolhaal.

Fees structure is 1 Lakh per annum. And hostel charge is 65000. This is same as all other college which are affiliated to AKTU or UPTU. Fees structure include tution fees, library fee, various event fee etc. This quite expensive for middle income group of society, if any year student not get scholarship from the government.

The only scholarship students get is government scholarship. College is also provided scholarship to merit students. College does not provide any type of loan facility, students can get loan from the banks by the help of bonafide issued bu the college registrar. Cash prize also provided to students who got merit certificate in any big events.

Sports activites are organised in our college, various students participate in this, there is no gender biasis every student got equal opportunity irrespective of their gender. Group discussion event debate event also held in our college. On thing more there isalso literature fest of 2 days. Workshops also held in every branch on their respective technologies.

Yes, I am a hosteler. There are 2 hostels in the campus, one for 1st year and final year students and another for 2nd and 3rd year students. Both the hostels have all type of rooms, single seater, double seater, 3 seater. Hostel infra is good. There is badminton court in the middle of hostel. Hostel mess is also good.

Yaa, this is most important, the interaction with the senior. Yes they are very helpful. The guide to their junior. They are available every time to help their junior either in case of study or any other management issue of events. They also help student in their placement, how to ready for placement and if senior are placed in some company then also refer their junior to that company.

I got admission in this college by qualifying UPSEE competitive exam for engineering colleges. I got this college on the basis of UPSEE rank. First i clear the UPSEE exam then result go out and on the basi of rank we selected list of college and on the basis of availability of seat in the college, we alloted one college by the UPTU.

Many faculties having good knowledge and inspire students and help in their work but some are boring and not so knowledgable, the just teach what is in the syllabus no additional knowledge. Furthermore the syllabus provided by university is also more theoretical and boring. We the students are here to get technical knowledge. It's not only the condition of these but all the colleges which are affiliated to UPTU or AKTU.
