Satisfactory Institution for Graduation.

My Overall remarks the college is very positive.Noone is perfect everyone needs improvement so is the DAV college. I've written above where improvements are needed and there is so much underestimated in this college which the students should be thankful about. I wish DAV college emerges as a bright and top institution in future because of its student friendly environment, Eco Friendly surroundings, Cooperative Faculty (teaching and non-teaching),Library facilities and many more.

My Overall Opinion on the COURSE CURRICULUM based on my 3year Study is as followed:- 1. I'm little bit disappointed about the negligence of the proper syllabus of the practical work in the curriculum, Maybe it's too old to tackle the modern world problems and requirements it only gives you a little exposure to the things which happen in the industries and real world But it doesn't makes someone a complete job ready. Its not the fault of the college but its the fault in the system which needs to be updated with respect to the time. 2.Theory Work of the course is satisfactory and the staff is well qualified for the purpose,Most of the professors teaching from a long time in this institution and they know very well how to manage and handle the young generations. 3.Along with the Studies college offers you extra curricular activities many times in the year it depends on the students to take part in it or not. EXAM STRUCTURE:- 1. Exams are commenced at the end of the semester For semesters 1,3,5 Exams are conducted in Nov-Dec and for the semesters 2,4,6 exams are conducted in April-May. 2. Tests are regularly conducted in classes during the semester.

PLACEMENT AND JOB OPPORTUNITIES:- 1. Placement and training cell of DAV college is doing an extremely great job. The complete effort of the team of the cell is able to bring great companies like Amazon,Infosys and many more to hire the students on permanent basis. 2. To get the job various seminars, training workshops and other personality development programmes are organised throughout the year to make the students job ready the the end of their courses. 3. Various programmes are also organised to develop the soft skills in job seeking students. 4. College personally doesn't provides any internships but the training and placement brings various internship opportunities to the students in the months of vacations. 5. The Stipend given to the freshers of the college while doing the internships reaches about Rs 7000 to Rs 10000 monthly, Depending upon the company hiring for internships.

The college organises various events annually or occasionally and allows the students of the college as well as other colleges to participate in them. List of some important events organised in the college recently are as under: 1. fresher's Party(annually) 2.Commerce Fest(annually) 3. Retirement Party(on retirement of any faculty member.) 4.Kite Flying competition (annually) 5.IT FEST(annually). 6. Entrepreneurship Mela. 7. Alumni meet 8. Farewell Party. 9.Fitoor(JMC DEPT.) 10. Events by Food science dept. 11. Youth fest (annually) . Annual Events are usually organised at a big scale Youth festival and Fitoor invites participation from other colleges also, whereas other events are getting bigger every year and soon i hope they will also invite participation from other colleges also.

Fee Structure is quite genuine for the courses. 1. Fee Structure includes the charges of the tuition fee, university fee, lab charges. 2. Fee needs to be deposited in three installments to the college. 3. 36000-40000 annually for graduation is not very expensive for such facilities according to the modern day scenario.

There are various scholarships provided by the college to the deserving and scholars. 1. Scholarships based on the previous educational achievements of the candidate is given by concession in the annual fees from 10% to 50%. 2. Scholarships are also given to the students with poor background and who are not able to pay full fee due to some genuine family problem. 3. Scholarships are also given to the SC/ST/OBC caste students. 4. Scholarships are also given to the students who have done some distinguished work in competitions organised at higher levels for DAV college.

There are various extra curricular activities organised in the college,which are as under:- 1.NCC Ncc is a national level organisation which provides training and grooming to the youth who is in keen interest of joining Armed forces. 2.NSS NSS provides students a platform to help and support the society in many different ways for eg. tree plantation, blood donations etc. 3. Entrepreneurship mela: Recently organised by the college, its motive was to bring out hidden talents if the students and monitise it. 4.Fitoor: it provides a platform for the poetry, Rap artists, And theatre artists to display their talents to a wide number of audience. . All these events are organised by the different departments of the college and they are free from any kind of partiality on the basis of gender, caste,religion or any other barriers.

No,i have not opted hostel, But i have friends in the hostel and they discuss about the infrastructure and facilities of the hostel. They are as under:- 1.Most of the hostel users complain about the food facilities of the hostel. 2.Infrastructure is satisfactory, it offers you choice for personal and shared rooms.

Alumni network of the college is growing every year. Following is my Experience regarding the Alumni/Senior interaction: 1. I had many interactions with my seniors during my NCC course which made my journey quite easy and also prepared me ahead of something big going to occur in future. 2.Alumni visit college during the various occasions and events as guests or chief guests.They share their personal views and experiences which help the modern generations to learn and stay protected from the various things by knowing in advance from the Alumni of the college. 3. Alumni of the college provide support to the younger students to get job and other ttrainings in their companies which is a privilege to the students of this institution. 4.seniors are most of the times very supportive and guiding and always prepared to help their juniors.

I got admission in the college in the most common way as described below: 1. Get admission form from the counselling office which is present at just the beginning of the college, also a counselling team will be present there which will guide you to choose the right course for you, best for you and your interests keeping in mind.The cost of the form is nearly about Rs. 300. 2. You have to fill the form, attaching the required documents which are your most recent education certificate and your one of the identity certificate, I attached my aadhaar Card for this purpose. 3. Submit the form completely filled to the general office of the college, which you will easily find with the help of maps installed the college. 5.Getting your form signed by the authority at General office,you willbe redirected to the Principal office which is just beside the general office. 6.Wait for your turn and get your form signed by the Principal. 7.Now you have to reach the account office present at a distance of about 100-150 meters from the principal office. 8. Submit the form to the counter and pay one installment of your course fee, nearly 9000-10000(vary according to the course). Receive the receipt from the counter. 9.Now you are successfully enrolled in the college.Wait for the notification of joining classes.

My Opinion on the Faculty is as under:- 1.Faculty of the institution is Very devoted and interested in teaching the course. 2. None of them treats students in bad way. 3. Faculty is also supportive to the Students who want to know more about the studies or the other extra curricular activities happening in the institution. 4.Faculty of the college is well qualified and well interviewed before them are appointed as the professors in the college. 5.Faculty Regularly interacts with the parents by the mode of official social media accounts or text messages and also arrange Parents- Teacher meet after a fixed period of time.
