Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

There are regular classes and classes are now compulsory and require 75% attendance commerce faculty is amazing but others you to look out for. So this has year on year exam pattern and pretty relieving as you get time to prep for competitive exams. As for what i learned well my accountancy knowledge is terrific now.No industry visit unless you opt for MBA.And no On-campus placement Except MBA.

Placement Experience

0.5

They came for Mba specifically Bfsi like icici etc others else there no placement cell or facilities here.

College Events

1.5

There's no event stuff but yes meets are held and some inter-departmental competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For BCom in 3 years I paid close to 10000 rs. The programs are very cheap for sc and st and girls i guess they only have had yo pay 3000 rs and 4500 rs respectively. No additional fee charged.

Campus Life

3

Campus life if so so as i said it's best for peeps eho want to prepare for competitive exams etc that's why a very flexible schedule and life here mostly we go to class then play sports and then attend classes for competitive exams. The gender ratio is 30:70.

Alumni/Alumna

Well yes, this university is huge and vave lakhs of alums working in diverse fields. They come to take classes on what's happening in the current scenario and what projects they are working upon.

Admission

The college authority asks you to fill the admission form and duly mention in that your class 12th percentage and attach all the required documents. Then there is first list second list and the third list if you have cleared the req merit you'll be given admission.

Faculty

3.5

There is 200 to 250 lectures per professor. The average age is around 35 to 40. Most of them are Post Graduate or PHD holders. Oh, they were amazing specifically accounts and business department professors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free.

Nothing influenced me yet i just have to go for it because of my graduation . Yes they prepare you good enogh for the rat race you are gonna do in coming future . The curriculam is a joke they will put information today and you have to get today only . I would suggest some of the rules and regulations should be maintained by the staffs and students even with teachers. Exams should in such manner no student can atleast face problems regarding admit cards and can cheat . there is no difficulty in in mid one but final one .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the B.Com curriculum at LNMU around 7.5/10 for relevance and coverage. I chose this course because it included all the important commerce subjects needed for government exams, higher studies like MBA, and basic professional courses. The syllabus builds a good theoretical foundation, but it lacks practical exposure like Tally, GST or real industry projects. Teaching methods are simple and could be improved with more modern, interactive approaches. Exams are held twice a year and follow predictable patterns, so the difficulty level is moderate. With notes and regular study, most students clear them easily.

Big 4 and some manufacturing companies who have large scale accounting are the ones who have partnered with college to get them the real workforce for their organisation. A lot of girls from our college who secured jobs from campus have helped the college build network and make sure every year maximum girls are placed from campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly the college doesn't prepare students for the real world. Teaching methods of the teachers are okay but it doesn't help in the real world competition. No extra curricular activities are held for students. College gives enough time for preparation for the examination. Anyone can pass easily in this college.
