College Days

It is very much responsible in building one's personality. Any student who is not able to speak up properly his/her personality will definitely be improved coming to ims. The crowd of students can be said as a little bit of negative but in all it is a very good college in academis wise.

The Course curriculum is actually very nice. We have 2 small tests of 30 marks in which the best one based on our marks is chosen. Then we have one big pre university exam of 70 marks which give us an ida as of how the university exams will look like and what all we should study. there are approx 5 subjects in each semester along with practicals.

The placements are good, although the placements are basically for cse, it and ec branches. Companies like TCS, deloitte, and other come here to take the candidates who fits their requirements. The college do provide summer training on various courses in the summer breaks given but no internships.

Many fests, including cultural fests, technical fests, zonal level fests are conducted in our college which embraces the students to showcase their hidden talents like dancing, stand up comedy, singing, band, skit etc. Many celebrities also come in our main college fesgt vibgyor like milind gaba, deep money, dilbagh singh etc. Also every year there is a Diwali nights function for all the hostlers out there which is very amazing with dj dance and much more.

One year fees is around 1,20,000. It is I think not that much expensive and that much cheap. An institute which is so good in academics and everything, I deserve this fee is totally justified for the students who need to become a good engineer.

Scholarships are available for every student who belong to U.P. There are many forms which you need to fill and give all your details then you will have to open a bank account and there only the scholarship amount will be credited to you if you are applicable to get it.

The extra curricular activities include, sport events. There is a sports fests chakravyuh conducted every year. Also there are libraries, practical labs. No one is discriminated or no faculty is biased towards any students or gender. The environment is very friendly with no politics or tolerance in any form. Many workshops are also conducted to aware the students on coming technologies.

I had not opted for hostel because I was a day scholar. However in our fests I used to stay in hostel for 4 -5 days, from that I can say that the hostel facilities are quite good. All the rooms are cleaned and well maintained. The food quality is not up to the mark but in all it is good.

Every year there is an alumini meeting at our college. All the previous alumini's of our college come and interact with the batches and tell them where thy are and from how they all started. All this is very amazing. Seniors in our college are very supporting and caring. You can reach out to any one of them and tell your problems or areas of improvement and they will help you always.

I first gave my overall exam for getting into engineering colleges of up, through the university exam of AKTU. Then our ranks came and according to that I got some selected colleges based on my rank. Outof them I choose IMS because I found the reviews, infrastructure, fees, academic and placements well and good here. Also it was not that much far away from my home.

The faculties are very supporting and helping. They also have deep knowledge about their respective subjects they teach. Also they also take small tests and give us assignments to know the progress of each child.
