Sharing experience from the college

Mcm Dav is a prestigious college in the Ut chandigarh. It has good quality and experienced staff. Its study material provides a lot of help in gaining knowledge and a good guidance bprovided by the teachers.

Course curriculum was helpful but did not focus much on the current secenario. It was not that much good with a focus on reasearch but yes, the teachers were very much helpful in providing guidance. The exams did not felt hectic at all, as the revision was done side by side.

Yes, the college provides placements and job opportunities also. The companies that came into the college was infosys, tech mahindra, tommy hilfiger etc. Best placements are provided in the college as it is one of the renowned college in the UT.

Mcm’s social life is good.Their are a lot of events happened in the college. Meraki is one of the bog fest that attracts a lot of crowd. The social environment is very popular among the students. Different workshops are taken place which provide us knowledge to improve our career also.

The fee structure was not much expensive as compared to other colleges. My fees for the Bba course was around 30,000. And the college also take the examination fees also which was around 2500. The fee structure is quite feasible.

Yes, there is a bank inside the college but im not aware of the loan facilities provided by the college bank. Scholarship facilities are also given to the one who are single girl child or who are foreign students.

The college is very likely to go further in the sports area. But their was less awareness regarding the the sports activities. But other activities like modelling, dancing and singing and drama. are done very well and these activities enhances the skills of a particular person.

I didn’t opted for the hostel but whatever i got to know from my peers was that, the hostel rooms were not clean. The food and the hostel were unhygienic. I lived in the pg and i paid rupees 8000 for my living and food. The hostel rooms were sharing between 2 or 3 mates.

Yess. i have interacted with my seniors in some or the other way. They are helpful but quite egoistic also as i have experienced. The college keep on calling the aluminis students of the college to share their experiences with the other students.

I got admission in this college on my merit basis. Mcm Dav college is one of the best college for girls and has its best curriculum in arts and commerce background. As i was a commerce student i wanted to opt for bcom or bba. I did not get admission into Bcom course, so i was left with the option of doing BBA. I filled the admission form and submitted it. Then in the 3 rd counselling i got admission into this college.

The faculty was very much helpful, and polite. The teachers were very much experienced also and many of the teachers has done phd. The teacher has full knowledge about the subject which they taught. Proper assignments were given and checked properly.overall the faculty was the best part of mcm dav college.
