Modern college

Overall its a good experience being there in modern college Shivaji Nagar. I love the faculty there they are very helpful and kind towards the students and actively participate in the events held by students.

Exam structure is a term pattern and not a semester pattern for my field i.eBA It is quite a good exam structure and it even varies from different fields.there is no focus on research as such.normally it is a chilled day at college.

My field has nothing to do with jobs or placements as no college takes the responsibility of providing jobs for a BA student.hence I do not have any such experience in my college yet. Engineering students are placed at a average number.

There are many events held in modern college. mostly students are interested in the cultural events celebrated in forms of saree day, black and white day, traditional day etc.these are not so huge as compared to other colleges nearby or in the city.

Fee structure is feasible not so expensive.I recommend this information based on my field and my overall experience in the college.fees for my course for the academic year was below 10,000.there are even concessions for the other minority castes.

I have no idea about such concessions, but there are scholarships provided for the minority students and loan is not provided by the college at all.these concessions are provided during the admission process.

Extra curricular activities are the best in modern college,shivajinagar.huge sports ground is available.college also provides gym facility for the students.there is compulsory physical training given to the students till first year of graduation.

I haven't opted for hostel but the fees for college hostel is around 1,25,000 including all the facilities such as mess,WiFi, laundry,and other facilities.it is quite expensive compared to the other colleges.

There are no issues between the seniors or alumni they are pretty helpful and kind. They are helpful during the events as well as the extra curricular activities held in the college.there are even intercollege events held.

Admission was achieved on a merit basis.this is a quiet better method than an interview.the college does not provide specialization subjects such as history, sociology etc. I'm a BA students persuing specialization in political science.

College faculty is excellent.they are there at their best.there are proper teachers to guide you throughout the academic year.the faculty is very good and there is no place to complain about it. I personally like to learn from such a team.
