I can confidently say that 5 years down the line, I do see myself as a successful marketer and a happy alumnus of NLDIMSR.

NLDIMSR has a very holistic approach when it comes to its academics. It follows the latest syllabus. The syllabus is the first year includes a mixed subject of marketing, finance, and HR. The faculty at NLDIMSR are just excellent. They all have industrial experience. NLDIMSR has never compromised with the quality of the faculty. Our college also focuses more on practical knowledge than being theoretical. Almost every Saturday, there is a visiting faculty, actually someone from industry, who helps us with their hands-on experience. Our college frequently schedules industrial visits.

Talking about the marketing batch, the total strength varies between 50-60. The place com team is very active. Companies like HUL, Zee, Tata, Ipsos, Kantar, MyGate, Amul, GEP, Pulse Secure, etc are the top recruiters at our college for finals as well as summers. Different companies have different recruitment processes.

Our college celebrates almost every occasion in its own unique way. Whether it be Republic Day or Women's day, Dalmia has its own unique style of celebration. AAKARSHAN is the annual fest at NLDIMSR. It lasts for almost 13-15 days... Those days will be the best in your college. Lots of fun, activities, challenges and many more.

The sum 465000/- is a one-time payment for one year. College provides documents necessary for the loan. In the first year at NLDIMSR, the college provides you with a laptop that is included in your fees. College doesn't charge anything extra than the fees. There is no examination fees as such. College does provide transparency in the fee-breakdown. You either do RTGS to pay the fees or prepare the DD payable to NLDIMSR.

College provides all the necessary documents needed for the loan. I personally have not availed any loan or scholarship but few of my friends have taken the loan.

NLDIMSR is the first college in Mumbai to have a Bloomberg lab with 12 terminals. It has a very large library of 2 floors with more than 2.5 Lacs books and e-books. NLDIMSR is very enthusiastic about sports. HOWZAAT is its annual cricket tournament where the college invites all the reputed college to participate. AAKARSHAN is the most happening event of NLDIMSR.

NLDIMSR has a very strong alumni connection. It organizes a one-day event like International Marketing Conclave, Alumni meet i.e ALCOM and various other events where the alumni are invited for lunch or dinner to maintain the network.

Well, after scoring 97 percentile in MAHCET, I received a mail from college where my scheduled date of group discussion and personal interview was stated. Dalmia generally has multiple dates for GDPI process and the candidate is given the choice to opt one of those dates as per his/her convenience. So during my time the process started on the 26th of April and went on till the 5th of May. Each day had nearly 4 slots. So opted 4th of May. Everything was fantastic. The management was excellent (far better than SIES). Dalmia basically is a student-driven college, where they manage everything (accept GDPI). The topic of my GD was very much bases on current affairs. It was followed by a good 20 minutes interview. One suggestion for all who wish to apply for Dalmia and are preparing for an interview is, don't act too smart. Just be the real you. After the interview, I went for my document verification. The college had also arranged a good lunch for students which was quite surprising. So overall the entire management of the process was excellent.

As already said, NLDIMSR never compromises when it comes to the quality of the faculty. I feel it has the best faculty for every subject. And moreover, there is hardly any faculty who has no industry background. Almost every faculty at our college has an average of 8-10 years of industry experience. 90 percent of our faculty are Ph.D. holders.
