A brief review on ACET, ALIGARH

It's very strict,like we're not allowed to bring our phones to college and sadly college being in the city of aligarh and most of faculty members have narrow minded thinking, being providing a co-education still if you move or roam around with a female friends of yours you're seen the wrong way.(most of the times and all faculty members are not like that some of them are open minded too and the things are changing now with the replacement of teachers with the new and better ones).

The course structure is pretty straight forward they want us to be graduate student and they don't want us to fail in any subjects and thus the examination level is pretty easy if you study sincerely whole semester.

Well we have placement and all that stuff but the opportunities they are providing us are not upto the mark mainly companies that come are generally for US staffing or BPOs and no core companies come in my college and hire from the core branches all of them are generally the management ones and they make us sit with MBA,BBA,BCA guys and it doesn't feel right and ethical.

Well at first we got 1-freshers(every even sem in the month of October or november) 2-we have cultural activities 3-we organise some events such as debates and various Quizzes and various self development programs such as frugal engineering etc. 4-we have farewell program to bid our respect to the final year guys.

We got a total of 95,000?/- for whole year (for both sems in an year inclusive). that's the total amount inclusive of all the things such as(tuition fees, library fees,study material and etc.) it's very feasible and with the scholarship included one needs to pay only a sum of around 45-50k ? for a year if and only if you're eligible for the scholarship program.otherwise the total cost for the whole BTech will come around 4lakhs rupees just for the college education itself.

if you're eligible you can also apply for the scholarship in which you'll get a sum of 40,000-45,000?/- deposited in your bank account after submitting all the required documents and after your application get reviewed.

Extracurricular activities in my college includes-basketball,table tennis, cricket tournament, robotics, general aviation workshops,debates,MNUs are held at periodically. Labs are pretty normal and honestly not upto the mark the teachers are not that much into the lab but being from the core branch myself i avail maximum benifits out of them you can surely conduct all the basic practicals that are in your syllabus but syllabus keeps on updating with time but sadly the lab equipments remain the same.

Yes absolutely they are very helpful and kind but my college doesn't hold any event or something for the alumni. I'll say they are more helpful than the teachers themselves because they understand us better being a student themselves.they also let us know about the scope and opportunities we can avail and the skills we must develop to sustain in the industrial enviornment.

Well we need to give an exam known as UPTU exam conducted at an all India level by the governing central university ie. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam technical university lucknow and based on the Ranking we get in that exam we can apply for the colleges

Well in my case I'm from department of electrical engineering and i must say we got excellent faculty with indepth knowledge about the subjects and we got some teachers with PhD but still there are some 1,2 teachers who are just headaches for the students.
