College review

Our college only focuses on academics, it doesn't encourage extra curricular activities, like though we have a fest we also have classes running simultaneously. Positive points are. Well. The washrooms are clean, I think it's the only good point. Our canteen is worse than the railway food.

Course and exams structure is very good, but the external correction process is definitely not upto the mark. Most of the students who actually score well FAIL. They pay for revaluation and then they pass and get a good mark. I don't know why they give less marks even though you have written well.

We had good placements like 3-4 years back now no company is showing interest in our college, as far as intership is concerned our college does provide internship, and no stipend is given. That's it

We do have a lot of fests, but what's the point if classes are running simultaneously alongside fests. We have a national level event called roboveda most of the participants visit from the north and our college struggles to provide them accomodation.

Expensive. The fees is very high considering the low quality teaching the provide. Transportation fees is 34000 from any place, though you live far or if you live just near like 2-3kms away. Funfact: we have uniforms our college includes uniform money in our fees which costs 12000 for a low quality shirt and pant they give you 6 pairs. Which if bought from outside would cost you 600 per pair. But since it's mandatory to buy their uniform from the college students have no choice but to buy those sick uniforms costing 12000

No scholarship provided by college, you can apply for scholarship to the government. In fact our college has the top tuition fee of ?1,37,000 until last year now it's 1,07,000 which is still one of the top tuition fees.

As far as sports is concerned, we do have a club but our football team neither gets money to participate in tournaments nor do they provide transportation. I have never seen girls play any other sport apart from basketball. We had a good cricket ground in the past now it's tranformed into a lab so now no more cricket, our football ground is a rough stone hill.

Well, most of my seniors did suggest me how to score big, they do get placed in some good companies but the pay is low. They suggest me to not follow our campus placements rather to prefer higher studies.

Now I am in my 6th semester and until now I have only seen like 5 lecturers who had potential to teach, I don't know how other faculties even got recruited into our college, most of the faculties hold a grudge against students and won't even give them the deserving marks in the internals. In my case I score well since most of the faculties hold no grudge against me.
