About my college

I got a wonderful experience during my college days and even till this moment my college is in touch with us to know their students current status.

As KIOT comes under Anna University, we are supposed to follow the curriculum given by them. But added to that our KIOT has added few more technical aspect training based on the student's interest which are relevant to each department to groom the technical knowledge of students. We have undergone two industrial visits and one in-plant training per academic year.

Companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Technosoft, HCl, TCS, etc usually visit our campus for placememt. Every year our college holds placement record of more than 95%. Students are taken into specific training to improve their soft skills and aptitude skill to crack the interview.

Technical events like inter and intra-collge conference, paper presentation, Symposium. And cultural events like annual day, sports day and other special national and international days like independence day, women's day., etc Which are usually conducted by students with management guidelines.

Our College strictly follows government proposed tuition fee structure for government quota student and even we can opt for the scholarship if any in the fees structure. The mode of payment can be either by cash or cheque. The college fee structure is very transparent.

If we are eligible for any special government-provided scholarship it can easily be reduced in our college fee.

There is no gender partiality in our college and every student are equally treated as per their interest on which. Every department has well equipped laboratories with latest technology products where the students can explore and implement their technical knowledge with the support of our professors.

Every year alumni meet has been conducted to make the interaction between passed out and course pursuing students where the Alumni can share their experience with their juniors about their relevant working field.

After completing my HSC exam I was looking for a college and luckily got a seat for KIOT through Anna university counselling. It was just a four years old college at that time but the review I got from my friends and other people impressed me and made me to go with KIOT.

Most of our professors are PhD holders and others are pursuing PhD. We had around 25 professors and 10 technical assistance, all are aged between 25 to 35. Every Professors have high technical practical knowledge on their own field. Even professors take periodical technical training.
