Remarks

My overall experience in this college is good. I enjoyed my college life a lot. The infrastructure of our college was nice and the facilities provided were also good like the library, labs, hostels, etc. The campus life was also awesome.

Course Curriculum Overview

In the 1st and 2nd semesters, we studied general management and in the 3rd and 4th semesters, we studied our specialized areas along with the elective subjects. And our exam was good, it was conducted at the end of every semester.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities provided in our college is average. The placement cell in our college guide and train the graduating students. Companies like Airtel, WMS, Amazon, Tata AIG, JK Paper, TCS, etc. visited our college. The highest salary package offered is 17 Lakh PA.

College Events

A lot of events were celebrated in our college like Annual Exhibition, in which a lot of students participated and shows their talent. There was also annual fashion show held and convocation, etc and so many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of our college is a little expensive but if we think about all the facilities provided to us, I think that it is feasible. MBA is a 2-year course with 4 semesters and the grand total cost of our college is ?5.24 Lakhs.

Hostel Facilities

I opted for the hostel and our hostel feels just like home. The rooms are nice and clean and we were provided the best facilities. I opt for a single room and it cost Rs.170000 excluding the mess fee.

Admission

I took the MAT entrance test to get admission in this college. I fill out the form online and attended the counseling and chose to pursue an MBA course. I chose this course because I wanted to learn about business.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.
