Journey down the memory lane

Our college was ranked 64th by Business Today and 74th by Outlook. It is one of the best management colleges, shaping the careers of students who are looking for a course with some legit practical knowledge. I would back the teaching here since they work hard towards maintaining a good student-teacher relationship.

Placements are pretty good at our college. Our college has close relations with some of the top brands in the industry, such as Loreal, CCD, Kotak Mahindra, Swiggy, HDFC, etc. The highest salary package secured by a student was around 13 LPA, the average package offered was around 4.5 LPA and the least salary package offered during my batch was around 3 LPA. They also provide training sessions for preparing students for the mock rounds.

Annual fee is around 12 LPA, which means for the two-year course you would be paying around 24 LPA, which is on par with IIMs. The fee wasn’t an issue for me. But the ROI of college is not good enough. Otherwise the college is pretty decent. Our college does offer scholarships and fee concessions for some selected students.

The campus has extended wi-fi connectivity throughout the campus and hostels. There are numerous books in the library in order to facilitate the course structure. Apart from that, there are fully digitized computer labs with around 50 computers. They even provide a laptop to each individual. The food in the canteen is good. I-Fest, Vivekananda Memorial Debate and various events are scheduled on the campus.

The hostel rooms pretty luxurious to be honest. There are attached washrooms, AC connectivity, even fridge, washing machine for laundry, etc. Rooms are spacious and has a homelike feeling. Mess food is also good.

Admissions are granted on the basis of any of the top management level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. Otherwise, the applicant has to appear for an entrance test organized by the university. After the exam, the college conducts a GD and interview round, on the basis of which students are offered admission.

Most of the faculty members were Ph. D. holders. Most of them have experience of more than 10 years. The student-faculty ratio was also pretty healthy. Another great feature was the mentor-mentee concept, in which around 1 faculty has 15 students. Specialized career trek course and mock interviews are also held here. The college also invites many guest faculties in order to update students about the latest advancements in their core industry.
