Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is specifically customized for infusing innovation in the fashion industry. It is aimed at upgrading the existing knowledge-base of a person. And it was true to that. I had pretty good knowledge of fashion and textiles industry, and the course literally helped me enhance my knowledge in this particular domain along with other programs.

Placement Experience

Our college maintains strong tie-ups with some of the big brands and emerging companies, most of which strictly belongs to the fashion industry. These big brands include Jabong, Jack & Jones, Amazon, Vero Moda, JJ Valaya, etc. Salary packages offered are also pretty decent and are in a range of 4-8 LPA.

College Events

College events are great and refreshing and on whole, the atmosphere is pretty lively on the campus. The cultural dance performances were best. Workshops and guest lectures were also pretty good and insightful. College infrastructure was also good and we were provided with facilities like a fully digital library, wi-fi connectivity, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our course fee was pretty affordable and budget-friendly. Our annual course fee for a year program was around 190,000 which is very feasible for an executive MBA. Amenities provided by the college are pretty decent as well.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is pretty good at our institute. Since mine was a three-year program, we got sufficient networking opportunities. But the annual alumni meet were a great place to socialize and expand our connections. Many college alumni are placed in well-reputed companies across different sectors.

Admission

Admission process was pretty smooth. Admission is direct and no entrance exam is required. Students do have to have a legit bachelor's degree with a minimum of 45% marks. Admissions are granted on the basis of merit. Administration was pretty supportive, throughout.

Faculty

4.5

All of our faculty members were very helpful and holds appropriate qualifications. They had an ample amount of industry experience which was updated as per the latest industry standards. The faculty and the placement cell assisted me in creating a good base for starting my venture and they helped me with their valuable insights.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.
