My College Review

Personally, I enjoyed the time I was at ISBM. The teaching imparted by the faculty was top-notch and campus life was electric. Everyone is nice around here and the campus is ragging-free, etc. If I have to give any suggestions to the college, I would suggest investing in infrastructure.

Our syllabus was pretty updated and carefully crafted in order to match pace with a rapidly changing landscape of the corporate sector. For the first two semesters, we received a 360-degree view of the corporation, including marketing to finances, from legal to market research. Later I studied Marketing and HR as a specialization. During the final semester, we went for a mandatory on-site project.

Though the placement cell established an ideal platform to meet recruiters, the college can still improve in this area particularly. Many students from our batch were able to secure a decent package during the on-campus placement. Average packages at ISBM ranges from 2-4 LPA. The mock training sessions were indeed helpful in boosting my confidence. Still, only a top few students from our batch got placed.

Numerous events like the annual day, sports day, freshers, farewell, etc. are celebrated in our college. Students from different departments and different cultural backgrounds take part in different activities like cultural dance, singing, speech, etc. Our college turns culturally beautiful during these events.

I paid 36k on an annual basis as my MBA fee. It is one of the most feasible and exclusive programs in the region and I was pretty satisfied with the fee. I mean, a full-time MBA program only for 72k which was far less than the fee charged by many private colleges.

Admissions to the college are done on a merit basis. Students have to purchase the application form, from the admin department and apply it with all the academic details. Management was extra supportive during the admission process. They even gave me some time relaxation for presenting my graduation degrees.

Faculty was very supportive and above all, they were well qualified. They were very thorough in explaining a particular topic. Assignments and classroom presentations were an effective way of teaching. In fact, our entire day schedule was pretty packed with assignments and presentations.
