My Masters Journey with NMIMS

I literally enjoyed my stay at NMIMS. It was an informative and entertaining journey. I learned a lot about the management and different aspects which constitute making a company. Campus life was fun, infrastructure was exceptionally great. Placement wing is efficiently dedicated towards bridging the gap between students and recruiters.

Our curriculum was pretty thorough and customized in order to match international standards. We studied different subjects mostly from a job-oriented perspective, which was one of the specialties of our college. Internal and external exams were held at the end of each semester. We learned a lot from the course curriculum especially various models, case studies and advanced technologies were really helpful.

Placement cell is pretty active in our college. Their assistance was elemental in shaping our careers. They guided us throughout the placement process based on qualifications and MBA specialization. Many reputable companies like Bank of America, Flipkart, Goenka Group, Mars and Wrigley, Lenskart, Jindal Steel, AME, etc. would visit our campus for the placement drive. Packages offered to the students of our batch goes as high as 35 LPA.

To be honest, our fee structure was fairly on the expensive side. The total course fee for one year program, was around 4.25 LPA to be paid on a semester basis. This fee structure included tuition fees, examination fees, registration fees, library fees, etc. The facilities provided to us were world-class, to say the least.

Our college management would organize many activities, guest lectures, and endless workshops. These activities gave us a break from the hectic schedule and provide additional information related to the topics. Nityaksha was the cultural fest organized in the campus itself. Apart from that, various Strategic and Business conclaves were organized in order to enhance the business understanding of the students.

My admission was done on the basis of the NMAT entrance exam, organized by the Narsee Monjee, themselves. I applied to the college with my academic details. After a few weeks, the college released a merit list, inviting students for the counseling process. The counseling process majorly consisted of two steps; GDPI and document verification process. The entire admission process went pretty smoothly. I was preparing for the exam for the past 4 months.

Our faculty was very supportive. They would help out students even out of the classroom. They all had a relevant amount of experience in the corporate sector and alma matter from different prestigious institutions. They prepared us for the tedious corporate jobs by keeping us busy with assignments and presentations.
