My MBA from KVIMIS

Our syllabus was good enough and I was satisfied with it. We were given a lot of assignments that were to be submitted on time. Our faculty was quite flexible in terms of the submission deadlines. A mandatory internship was also part of our curriculum and in the final year, we were supposed to submit a dissertation.

Placements were pretty ordinary in our college but we received enough assistance from the placement cell. Some good companies do visit our campus for the placement drive but the packages offered were not that good. Citi Bank, Concentrix, Volkswagen, Kotak, etc. were some of the frequent visitors from our campus.

My total course fee was around 60k which is pretty nominal and less than other management colleges. Other expenses were also pretty affordable. College is enabling students to fulfill their dreams of higher studies.

Endless conferences and symposiums are organized quite frequently at our University. Different guest lectures delivered by some of the esteemed scholars of the field are also organized. URJITH and participation in All India Management Association competitions were some of the events from the top of my head. I attended some of these workshops, out of which some were useful for us, while some were not depending upon your area of interest.

The hostel was available for girls only and boys to have to make their own arrangements. In general, the hostels are good, with pretty comprehensive facilities being offered here. Washrooms are hygienic and the common room had the option of many recreational activities.

Our annual alumni meet is organized for providing a platform for alumni and college students to interact, share experiences and thoughts. The alumni meet during my batch was pretty good and all the alumni tried motivating students especially towards entrepreneurship.

Admission to the college is on a merit basis. I applied with the TANCET entrance exam which is required for admission. Students have to simply apply to the college and appear for the interview round and document verification process. Document verification went smoothly.
