Remarks
The college management is also very supportive and helps the students in each and every possible way in their difficulties and workday very hard to ensure the smooth working of the Institution.
Course Curriculum Overview
The entire year is divided into 2 semesters, and while each semester is divided into 3 sessions. Each session is followed by a sessional exam and the student is assessed accordingly for internal marks. Regular class tests, and prize distributions, on one hand, provides a continuous check to student's approach to the lecture and practicals, while on the other hand prize distribution encourages the students to work hard and perform better in the forthcoming tests and sessionals. Well experienced faculty provide the students with extensive notes (onboard and in the seminar) corresponding to the syllabi prescribed by the University and conduct various sessions of discussion which lead to an in-depth understanding of the concepts and clear all the queries arising. In short, faculties like RB sir, SHIV PRATAP sir, SHIVENDRA sir, Dept. Dean sir,...(the list goes on and on), are the real pillars which uphold the name of the institution.
Placement Experience
Placement facilities as discussed earlier are one among the best. Extensively, the college has instituted a Placement cell, which throughout the year works to collaborate with the companies like HCL Infosystems, Amazon, Tata Motors, Wipro, Accenture, Yamaha, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, YES Bank, Bajaj Motors, Vodafone, Sapient, Oppo, JCB, Reliance Communications, Aptech, Oracle, JP Group, Reliance JIO, Pepsi, RED APPLE, Shine.com, etc to provide students with the best of the placement facilities in the region.
College Events
The beginning of the session for the newly admitted students start with the extracurricular activities in the month of July which includes various sports, games, yoga classes, visits to the nearby villages, etc, and with the beginning of August, the new entries start with their Normal University prescribed syllabus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The program fees for Biotechnology course is it Rs.87,500 annually, and Rs.55000 hostel and mess charges. The total fees seems a bit hefty but can be split into smaller instalment which may be payable at equal intervals of time on complete transparent norms. The fee payment facilities are quiet easier as the institute has well-developed finance management staff, and the institute accepts all forms of payments, either it is NEFT/IMPS/RTGS, cheques, Credit/Debit/ATM cards, Cash, etc. After the declaration of UPTU exams, the seat locking procedure starts. People who have a keen interest in joining such a prestigious Institute may lock their seats accordingly as the seats for biotech and few branches of traditional engg course gets overburdened and some may have to leave, disappointed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers Scholarships as per Current government schemes and the students have to fill up forms as notified by the officials of the Institute, in the format as prescribed. Eligibility criteria for scholarships are the same as per the U.P. government Schemes and the students may refer directly to UP governments for more information.
Campus Life
The college facilitates co-education and maintain good gender ratio for each branch of all courses run by the institute. Workshops are extensively arranged by the departments and are headed by respective HOD's. The college maintains equal opportunities for the students irrespective of gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, political and economic status. Extracurricular activities such as sports, games, debate on Social topics, various Model Exposition competitions, etc. are regularly conducted for all-round development of young minds.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are quite helpful and also provide expert guidance with the daily problems which we face in the academic as well as extracurricular activities. They act as a true guide after the HOD Deputy HOD and the faculty. The seniors in their respective branch are all very responsible and carry out duties entitled to them efficiently.
Admission
I opted for this course because Biotechnology provides a tool for modern biological and biomedical research. Biotechnology is both a basic and applied science and allows the graduates to take up a number of career paths including work in research Labs, graduate training in biology and Chemistry and professional career in Health Sciences, Coming to why I chose this Institute, I have many of my seniors who have studied from this college and are currently well placed and pursuing their career happily and well satisfied. I saw better quality education and future security in joining R.R.I.M.T. I appeared for UPSEE and cleared it with state rank 551 and decided to apply for counselling. Most interestingly, I got RR in 2nd place, in allotment list and decided to go for R.R.I.M.T.While I approached the college for admissions, Authorities were quite helpful and helped me in any and every manner they possibly could. Even I was given a chance to roam around freely in the campus and be familiarized with the surroundings, with which I was about to start a 4 Year Journey of my career. The hectic documentation process was easily concluded, very thanks to the Head of the documentation cell, Mr Parashuram Dubey sir. And after all my queries were satisfied by respected Chief Proctor sir and respected Secretary sir, I decided to become a part of this prestigious institute.
Faculty
Faculty of the college are young dynamic and well experienced most of them holding Post Doctoral, Doctoral and Master's degree in various Engineering fields. Each department tentatively holds a HOD (who is in charge of the department), a dept. HOD (to take charge in absence of HOD) and 12-14 lecturers who collaboratively manage their respective departments with great zeal and enthusiasm, guiding their department in an efficient way, which may be beneficial in inculcating industry-based approach development in the minds of the young to-be engineers. Each faculty is in close association with one or the other industries related to their department and preferably each one holds enough industrial experience to guide students with their vast experience-bound knowledge. All the HOD and dept.HOD's are answerable to the DEAN sir, Dept. DEAN sir, Chief proctor sir, and STUDENT'S WELFARE DEAN sir, in the prior hierarchy and these head authorities exercise complete control over all the ongoings of each and every department leading the institution exactly as parents lead their family.
