Engineering Admissions through competition only after passing grade 12th. Students from all over India sit for competition. There are more than 9ne lakh students sit in the competition and only 300 students selected.

There are campus interviews company from India and abroad arrange campus interview and selected student from final year. Students who have been selected by the companies received appointment letters and join the company as soon as they passed put.

There is a technical exhibition held every year models. Students from all sections of Engineering participated. Students participated in groups with these models. Prices are given for the best three models.

Fees are really cheap compared to other universities. There are hardly 15 thousand Rupees tuition fees per year. Students get a complete set of books from the book bank free of cost. Hostel accommodation is also very cheap.

Students received scholarships on the basis of their marks. Some scholarships are available for poor students. The scholarship is also available for outstanding sportsman students. Students from the distant states also received separate scholarships.

There are a lot of extracurricular activities which include drama club film club music club swimming pool of international standard is also available for students cricket hockey basketball tennis cycling and horse riding are also available for students.

There are more than twenty-five thousand students stays in hostels. There are more than twenty hostels that belong to the university. Food safety security sports life gymnasium and other facilities available in each hostel

Alumni are available all over the world. There is an AMU alumni telephone directory in almost all the countries including the US, Canada, UK, UAE KSA, OMAN BAHRAIN QATAR ETC. Alumni are very helping full and treat the juniors as their younger brothers.

There is a written competition in which more than two lakhs students appear and 300 students selected on the basis of position in competition branch of Engineering is awarded. There are some seats reserved for outstanding sportsmen.

Excellent faculty in the engineering department some of the faculty in the chemical engineering department and civil engineering department. The lab in the Engineering department is well equipped and the lab in charge is really professional.
