Remarks
PSNA should concentrate on placement activities. They need to mold their students and entertain them with extra curricular activities only then they can face the real world which is full of competition.
Entrance Preview
With the TANCET score 14 I got a merit quota in this college. I pursued MBA here and 2013 Passed out. College is well known among southern districts on Tamil Nadu.
Course Curriculum Overview
It follows Chennai Anna University syllabus. But in case of MBA we need a lot more practical sessions with theoretical knowledge. But unfortunately students won't get much exposure like top graded schools. Just pay money mug up theories puke it in your exam sheet get MBA degree.
Internships Opportunities
They have given the assurance for the placements before joining and they do forget it as soon as the batch is filled with its maximum strength .I was actually placed in a campus placement(only 3 companies came for hiring) and they didn't call any one of the placed candidates till date. But the College website shows 80% placement.
Placement Experience
In case of Engineering students placements are fine in PSNA (I know only until 2014) But damn sure for Masters degree the placements are Nil. They just bring 2 to 3 companies with low standards and they them self prepare the placement list which is a fake one.
College Events
We do celebrate VENETIO once in a year it is a management festival. We also invite many colleges around Tamil Nadu so that we could conduct events and winners are recognized. While i was pursuing my masters degree management had also organised TEDx, which was informative and good.
Fees and Financial Aid
I applied educational loan through government Bank. If you are planning to avail loan through Governement Bank you need to check with your area code and ward number.
Campus Life
In case of sports PSNA provides their students with good indoor/out door play grounds. Lab facilities are fine and they have good library with n number of books. There is a separate library for each dept and they have also a central library at the middle of the campus (were any dept students can refer books). They do have proper authorities to take care of women/men in hostel they are proper system to monitor.
Alumni/Alumna
2012 passed out (my direct seniors) are working in different companies and not even five percent seniors gone through placement. Few are still unemployed, few seeking for government job.
Exam Structure
PSNA affiliated to Chennai Anna University as I said previously. We do have four semesters were three theoritical and last semester is dedicated for project internship works.
Faculty
Faculties are good. But they never bother to teach you new and informative. Their task is to finish the syllabus as like for kindergarten students and get their salary. Anna university needs to revise the syllabus and ask their affiliated colleges to incr
