A worth college for legal education with exposure & low fees

The goods are many and this platform is not enough to write about the positive's of this college, But there are few good things are like a very good library, approachable faculty, good atmosphere, college situated in heart of city. Bad thing with college

LSAT, and 12th merit score, This is one of the old college established in 1975 under the guidance of 100yrs old KLE society. A very renowned college in Karnataka with affordable and very high quality education.

Since this college is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University, hence the curriculum is designed by the university which aims to cover the traditional, litigation prospective as well the curriculum is enough to meet modern corporate legal needs.

We only use to get only 30 days holidays as semester break which I feel is very less for internship. Being in this college I have got opportunity to intern with various leading law firms like Luthra n Luthra and have also interned in litigation firms n individual advocates.

Placement opportunities of this college is increasing with passing of time. Frankly speaking although placements are not like leading NLU's but also not bad as like recently mushroomed new highly advertising law colleges. Every year various LPO's, some good famous companies of insurance n IT sector have visited for placement. Various small Bangalore based law firms have also came for recruitment this year. KLE has also produced many leading advocates of Karnataka.

College is very much serious about conducting National moot court competition, National client counseling competitions. Which includes being host of national rounds of Louis M Brown client counseling competition. Every year college organise cultural fest in the name of Ad infinitum which is a two days event and witness the participation of various college for different events.

I think in respect of fees if KLE is compared with other private colleges, it is one of the most affordable college with very reasonable fees , if I share my own experience then I have completed my BA.LLB degree by paying just total amount of Rs 130000. Presently the fees for new batch is around Rs 70000-80000 for all five year the a student joining this year will end up paying total amount 4 Lacks to 4.5 Lacks for complete course.

KLE helps needy students in getting bank Education loan. As such there no scholarship programmes but college offers scholarship to debate in fee to Karnataka based students and students belonging to the community of SC/ST but apart from this, College tries to arranges to help poor and needy students upto certain extent.

Hostel facility are provided by the colleges which runs jointly along with students of other courses/dept of KLE, Hostel and mess facility at hostel is very good with an option of North and South Indian food.

KLE is working in creating good alumni networking while coming to seniors so this college has strict anti ragging policy, but the seniors are moe like good friends of junior in this college, we don't follow the culture of addressing your seniors as Sir/madam.
